Does anyone here Drift RC? Sounds childish but it's surprisingly addictive and the shells out there are phenomenal.

i used to until my RC car's engine and gears went bang/crunch/grind.

still CBF'd to get a new engine and two speed lol

It looks cool and all, but I dont think it will ever match the rush of the real thing

i threw in a brushless high power high torque motor into it, it f*kn goes now, i chase my dog around the house with it when im bored.

Yeah i do aswell ive got an S15 and currently building an R34 Z tune

they are awesome fun to play with! Took like half a day to build though lol

i wanna get the supercharger for it!! there on ebay for like $50

heres mine, been into rc drift for about a year now, gets boring doing it on your own lol, local kids at the park think its cool though lol

yea i drift rc as well it does get a bit boring by yourself, i use a r34 for a bash shell and i got a evo7 for a show shell i run a tamiya tt01 with a super stock tz blue motor and no limit speed controller, i also have a aluminium drive shaft but thats it, goes alright.

There's meets at Tempe every second Sat at Tempe Jets Club just past Tempe Tyres around 3pm onwards. There's a few SAU guys that are there too. All ages and good fun. I got into it as I can't afford to do the real thing..

Drifting alone is pretty boring. Check out www.sydneyrcdrifters as guys seem to meet up a fair bit. There's meets up Newcastle area too.
