No more 8000 at the bayside/brighton mobil.

No Ultimate at the bayside or southbank BP's.

No Vortex at Elsternwick.

I had to borrow my mum's subaru after I limped my car to my folks house on the sniff of a damp rag =( Last time I run that far below 1/4 tank.

Reason? Every one of my cars has been run on Shell. I've only filled up a few times on any other fuel, and it doesn't run the same.

i found it didnt like as much timing in the datto, and it ran crappy, and stagea feels like arse on it, mrs's old supra did too... datto's head gasket went on shell, only fuel friends have done head gaskets on is shell, so i will follow my theory that you may think is silly, and i will say i dont like it!

well kew bp has been out for a week now.

i went to mobil today on glenferrie road there out of 8000

does anyone know why this is? and isnt it suss that it one place it out of premium they all are.?

its very frustrating. 95octane+aircon= crap ride

Octane boosters dont do anything. They are bad news.

BP on FTG Road Oakleigh was out of 98

BP on Princes near Wellington Rd was out of 98

BP on Centre Road near Clayton Rd was out of 98

=

95 and -5 deg of timing on the PFC just to be safe...

I spoke to the guy at Centre Rd and he said there was no more until Monday, more is coming Monday.

WTF is going on???!

It was hard enough for me to put 95 in my car for less than 30kms before i got to a servo that had 98

Using 91 would be like pouring cats piss into the tank mate :domokun:

Not a good thing, 95 if you HAVE too and take it easy... 91 is just wrong town, drive very easy and slowly :P

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
