Its not due for a couple of weeks, but how about if we start planning a night out to go watch Love the Beast with Eric Bana?

Who is interested? Who can get us discount tickets? Surely someone works at Hoyts or goes out with someone, or has a crush on someone who can work out a discount for a group of us.

We'll come along. I've read some articles about this movie, it sounds good.

I'd be willing to sacrifice myself for the team and sleep with people for cheaper tickets...........if I was single.........but I'm not........so I can't.

:) Mark will be disappointed!! How will I tell him?

we could just go on tuesday night?!?!

Hoyts in woden i assume?

Tuesday sounds good too, maybe I should have put voting buttons up for preferred night, but never mind it wont take long to work out on here.

I think Woden is pretty central for all, so yes, lets say Woden.

I'm in for Tuesday the 17th of March...

this arrived in my inbox this morning

Now its between a weeknight or Fri/Sat/Sun 20-22nd March.

I know we are not going to suit all, but if I could get a majority, I will lock in a date. Can be a daytime too, but night would keep your day free.

March

Fri 20th

Sat 21st

Sunday 22nd (Wheels during day)

Okay Friday the 20th it is. Shell can you please update the heading so all can see and remember the date. We don't need numbers here really, just a meetup time/place we'll discuss closer to the night when the movie has been released and the times are up.

If time permits, we should catch up for a drink/dinner before the show.

Where: Woden Hoyts

When: Friday 20th March

Cost: $8 if you use attached voucher

Print your own voucher provided by Ex!$t3nZ (Thanks )

    • How dare you sell your unreliable Skyline and buy a reliable, Toyota/Yamaha car with a strong gearbox, torsen LSD and Toyota reliability. At least you won't need to worry about oil pumps, big catch can, oil restrictors, blowing off power steering belts, sheering off 3rd gear, failing ABS relays/pumps, etc.
    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
