I'll get my mechanic mate to do most of it as he's knows more about doing it then me. Price I don't really know. Maybe ask boostworx how much they charge and we will beat it. Only thing we can't do is the tune lol

speak more about it when I see u next.

which reminds me lukey.....my turbo needs to go on soon as well....so let me know of the costs involved :)

lol, dude, diy. only reason mine took so long is im f**king lazy.
Yep, easy on a single turbo car, GTR on the other hand = PITA!

If you want Krishy, I can lend a hand

Does it need to be on a hoist??? if so then i can organise a time to borrow luke's hoist and that way there will be 3 or 4 or 5 of us trying to get it done lol.....i am very mechy challenged when it comes to things like this....will let you know when the pipes are all made luke

That should be fine if u guys wanna do that. Best if it's a Saturday arvo through to a sunday if u like.

Just let me know when.

once the pipes get made then we can sort something out

lol dude. mine was done on the floor of my garage with a 50 buck jack, and 40 bucks worth of stands.

hoist would make it marginally easier, but its not necessary.

yeah that plus i got no tools.....so makes life a whole lot easier

youd be about the only skyline owner i know without a took kit.

just need a simple socket set, couple spanners, and maybe a breaker bar.

speaking of hoists though, might make my engine mount replacement a whole lot easier...

yeah I did my turbo changeover on jack stands .... actually can make it a bit easier to get those damn fiddly banjo bolts lined up when you sit under the car and jam yourself whilst contorted into the position you need to be. But yes, I still think overall a hoist would be much easier.

Yeah and +1 to wtf on no tools .... how can you own one of these forever being modded and breaking down pos's without a huge box of tools?

    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
