Why don`t you do something!!!:):D:D

Write them (Bunbury Council, F-Nippon etc), get your friends to write them... make it happen.

My Question is: What's going to happen to the venue once that "round of f-nippon" is finished. Who's to say it will get used again ?

Could just be another perry lakes/homebush sydney deal...purpose built for a few months then left as a ghost town..

i hope it goes ahead as well ...... these things usually take years to eventuate tho.

Perth needs more big events and the Government is starting to realise this and putting their branding behind it e.g Rugby World Cup. So its more than possible that the Government has given its ok to it ..... seeing as it means millions in tourism ..... growth in Bunbury etc.

Anyway shant count my chickens before they hatch - my parents have a holiday house in Bunbury and Bunbury Council is forever changing its mind about what it proposes to do ...... just a couple of months ago it was a world class resort along the beach front .... but that aint happening either.

I don't know about homebush, but perry lakes gets used.

there have been plans to knock it down because it's getting old and run-down (and dangerous, frankly)....but if you ever had to park there on a sunday when the rugby and athletics are on - you know it gets used!!

the reason that hasnt been flattenned and used as residential development site up till now is the government and the LGA havent been able to fund the shortfall between what the land is worth and what it will cost to build another stadium and basketball facility - and the community groups have been to vocal to let the place shutdown without an appropriate alternative!

Don`t you think it`s a good proposal?

If I was in Perth now, I`d be following this up and trying to get as much support as possible. If 10,000 people all registered their support, you watch how much capital gets thrown at it, and before you know it bloody NISMO is building a factory three doors down from your house.

This kind of stuff HAPPENS. Look at the US for christs sake, they`ve got a round of D1 drift!

The Japanese want to expand overseas and build up new market potential in any way thats viable. If have an F-Nippon round in Perth makes money, they`re in.

Don't get me wrong, the idea behind it is fantastic, waneroo is ageing baddly and needs a lot of work done to it, which is slowly bit by bit happening, and another track would be tops, especially an international standards one, but the guy behind it doesn't have a hope in hell, has no money and really, i seriously doubt he has any of the backing he claims to

the idea is great, the person pushing for it, is bad

Aren't there like 1 and a half million people in Perth? Surely there must be some other respectable entrepenuer that could get it off the ground?

If you guys have ever been to Suzuka Circuit, you'd know that the whole town of Suzuka is run on motorsport factories and shops and things. The same would happen to Bunbury, and knowing Nismo, Impul and Autobacs, once theres a legitimate reason to go to WA (namely for support of the F-Nippon teams) they'll see that Australia needs an Offical Aussie Head Office... and build one...

yeah theres a few blokes with cash, but the other issue with building it, who the heck is gunna use it, being an international track it'll be farking expensive to hire, and really 1.5 million people here equals bugger all when it comes to motorsport fans, especially something not powered by a ford or holden/chev v8, or doesn't involve footy, drinking beer and pounding the crap out of each other..

no one would really give a toss, heck, they put the farkin football semi final on at rally australia, the ONLY international rally event in the country, so they stick the farking football on the super screen..

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
