Even a 'low' (as opposed to zero) refrigerant gas pressure will cause the compressor to shutdown. Over time the system loses gas and as soon as the pressure drop below a threshold the a/c will not start. The is a feature designed to protect the compressor as the gas also contains oil that lubes the compressor..

So it may be as simple as a re-gas...If you know what you are doing bridge the pressure switch and see if the compressor starts...This will confirm if it is something else such as the clutch etc...If you dont know what you are doing take it to an a/c place...

    • hey mate so i was in a similar position needing something better than oem for track but also wanting it to look the part, i went for APG APG Performance Brakes they are a solid price and i have had no issues with any of the components from them. the rotors and pads can be swapped out for all the usual brands just ensure you are getting the right sizes. i have just a front kit on my car. i would recommend upgrading to a bigger master cylinder as they are a bigger calliper so you can actually notice some increased braking performance
    • Hi guys, I've just bit the bullet on a forged rebuild for my 25det looking at making 600rwhp with the built engine. Having always been a butthurt for big brakes, I'd like to upgrade the fronts. I have looked at a few different websites, not have really stood out to me. What are some good quality front brakes, are the Attkd ones any good?    Thanks.
    • Went out for drive with Jackie for a while in the Mazda and whilst it was raining cats and dogs, the interior and boot are still nice and dry so the top and drains are working well to keep the elements out, winning
    • And yes would be going to tomei Japan for sure as it’s closer to me …
    • Yeah I heard the same. Might be hard to order one. But then I guess can go to hks or go to a more expensive n1 block with tomei. Guess will jump the hurdle once I get there next upgrade around. I can’t get work done in the states as the lead time will take for ever on top of shipping to Hong Kong.
