I fail to see what was wrong with the old one? I'm pretty sure every track GT-R diffuser I've ever seen looks like that! :P

it's fine appart from the corner that is broken off where a bank hit it (i put it back together for the photo)

roy: it's for the front.

Geez Snowy, like I said in the other thread mate, congrats on your new GTR!

Although I cannot compete with the Shock and Awe of a 34/35 recce/rally duo, we can always have a little fun :)

The stickers finally done by 1am tthis morning, we modded the Signal stripe a bit from the original at the leading edge, it looked a little too much like a willy for my liking. Just needs the Shannnons for the windscreen and the door panels now :P

Once I have it running again I'll grab some better pics of it outside. These pics are of it not quite finished as I was dead on my feet in the later stages.

Ahh the joys of living in Tasmania now.

I can go and check out all the Targa cars!

Look forward to seeing some of these cars in the flesh!

Yeh mate come along for a look! and drag that cousin of yours up, i haven't seen him in nearly 2 years!!!

That's either a random 'everyone in Tasmania is related' joke, or you actually know my cousin Nathan?

yes I know Nathan, have known him (and his antics) for a long time :D

Car looks great Ben, nice job!

Yours too Snowy, that's quite the duo.

And the bonus being my name got spelt right, doesn't happen too often!

Kel - is that Friday 24th? If so Drew/Georgie and I are all on that boat too.

Yep - the 24th it is, looks like we'll be sailing mates :P

I think we're also booked back on the Monday with most of the other Targa traffic- always a fun trip with lots of beer and bullshit!

btw for any navis lurking on this thread (who aren't facebook friendly).

Mozza has passed this on to the Rallying Nav's & Co-Drivers of Australia group on facespace...

Peter Leimuss requires a Nav/co driver for the lefthand seat of his R35 GTR SKyline, please conact Helen Coad at the TARGA TAS office to book your seat,

EXPERIENCE IS VERY NECESSARY,Vandenberg pace notes, and weight is an advantage (or lack of!) !!!!! Flights, accom etc provided

Having done 2 rallies with Pete I can definitely vouch for his driving :P

I am surprised he doesn't have a nav already!

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
