Jim you are a blatantly lying and you didnt want to meet up becuase you knew I had exposed your attempt to rip off honest people.

Everything you say is worthless, and your businesses reputation now lays in ruins.

Needless to say all of the above is false and irritates me so much because all I wanted was to buy quickly and hassle free. After all this, you still refuse to apologise for how you treated me, and continue to make false accusations.

Honestly Jim, you have a lot to learn about business and how to treat people. You falsely advertised this vehicle and I have actually contacted the ACCC and reported you. I have kept all of your abusive and misleading messages sent from you as well. These will be passed on and supplied as evidence of your shady tactics to the ACCC.

Also this story and post has been reported to A Current Affair, hopefully the whole of Australia will see your shady business tactics.

bring it on , ive herd it all now , go to accc for what , coz i didnt sell you car coz you didnt have enough money ! seriously , i avoided you due to there are better offers for my car not yours , remember what you said that your waiting for a pay out on your current car accident . im not going to hang around for tossers like you to try to knock the car so you can get it cheeper, other people have put better offers than your so i didnt worry about the little guy who couldnt afford this car , nothing else , i didnt take a deposit from you ! im not commited to a sale ! so what the f**k are you on about , and about abusive and missleading messages , well i have a I phone that records every detailed message from me to you , lets see what a current affairs thinks about this after they see the messages , get off your high horse and go by your R33 gtr v-spec for what you have to spend lets see what you can buy for $17000 , and for the people who backing this guy up get a life ! live your own !

Alright, so everyone is saying its not an S Tune, thats fine - its just that he is so adamant that the engine is a S Tune since it has the 'S' on the block number. The engine cover looks standard so I think he is full of BS too, or just misinformed.

Whatever the case this is all good info and will help me bargain down the price. I will get the front of the car checked out for previous accidents and he says that he will install the stock steering wheel with airbag. Also it will come with the stock airbox which means it should be defect free.

It has heaps of nismo parts but they seem to be just bolt-ons.

When I get a definitive result from someone who has FASTED the VIN and Engine No I will print this out and show him as proof.(He is just misinformed I assume). This should help give me some bargaining power during negotiations.

p.s at least we know its a genuine V-SPEC and that its colour is a genuine midnight purple.

this guy is either a big guy with a small amout of money wishing to buy a gtr for a wank factor look what i brought for $17000 , or a small guy with big expections with no money ! i glad i sold this car to some one who has good knowledge and knows what they want in a gtr not just a tosser from a R31 to a want a be ! for all who is selling a R33 gtr keep away for this tosser you will get sick of him quick !

I don't think it's a matter of anyone backing GTR-PWR. It's more a case of everyone watching you get owned on the worlds largest Skyline site by making claims about a vehicle that aren't true. On this forum you trade on your reputation not your ability to withstand investigation from some dodgy TV show or government department. Let it go

dont_be_a_tosser.gif

If someone offered me 17k for a r33 1995 Vspec, i'd tell them to piss off too ?

I'm guessing others would too =).

True that, dodgy advertising aside....consider this op. If he doesn't want to sell you his car or talk/answer messages he doesn't have to.

He has 0 obligation to you. Which is about the same amount of credibility you have.

WHATS WRONG WITH ASIAN's, I LOVE THE JAPANESE FOR MAKING SPORTS CARS.

THANK GOD FOR THE JAP's. :P .

ive built 100s of fast gtrs , i know my cars , the car is sold was in fact a V-Spec in purple ,had all the options of nismo , ive been in the industry for over 9 years and know when a tosser is having a go ! with the offer of $8000 less then the advertised price , no one would of givin him a go , the car was equiped with 550 cc injectors (pink top feed) 256/264 cams , cam gears, head work,F50 brembos two piece front rotars , (look at the pics ) N1 turbos , larger front mount cooler, trust oil re-locator with front mounted oil cooler,ASI alloy radaitior, carbon fibre exhaust , metal head gasket, thanks to the FAST site it proved that this car was correct for its ID that is a V-spec and in purple in colour that tosser said it wasnt a v-spec , the guy that did buy it knew what he wanted in a GTR and had knowledge of such , now i know why this guy is so PISSED that he could buy this car due to he didnt have the correct funds to purchas it , $17000 doesnt buy you a R33 gtr V-spec at that too ! thats why i didnt give him the time of day just a time waster tosser !

dude....you are correct....you have no obligation what so ever to the guy....theres no need to pick on any types of race's here either....learn some f**king manners mate....and buy a dictionary for f**ks sakes.....your spelling is atrocious

Been watching this thread for a bit.

turbo_rxp: Yes, there may be tightarses within the market, but that is totally beside the point that was originally raised. Notice the title? Apparentley A Nismo Built Engine. Now, basically, all everyone is asking for is some sort of proof, to back up your claims. Obviously you are having trouble proving it, resulting in personal insults.

You cannot argue Nissan FAST.

So... the unanswered questions... Nismo? 1996? The lie's in the ad were the funny part :P

we all know that these cars come from japan , some come highly modded others come stock or close to stock , as for the FAST de code , it cant tell you if the engine has been changed after the manufacture now can it ! now imagine this you wanted a fast car to perform to be fast on the track , i advertised this car as a nismo built engine, i didnt say nismo built car , as for the year it was made in 1995 but first regested in 1996 , i cant understand the Japs very well on there emails ! as for the rest of the car it was more than advertized, like caster rods that were ajustable , braded brake lines ,upper and lower controll arms were the nismo items being silver and displayed the name nismo , being a 24 U block and everthing in it ,N1 turbos center turbo tag was 24U00, the email wasnt very clear from japan but it said engine internals much of nismo S tune spec, thorn rose something , something ,something

Mate you are full of sh|t!

I offered you $23,500 and I said that I had cash ready to go!

You didn't want to meet up because I questioned the validity that it was a genuine S-Tune. SIMPLE AS THAT.

How dare you try to make up false accusations, you are obviously just getting desperate with nothing else to backup your claims so you take a personal attack.

Facts which still remain:

1) You cant substantiate that what you advertised was accurate.

2) You have obviously been caught out screwing over others Reference

3) You verbally abuse and threaten prospective customers rather than apologise and try to resolve situations.

Honestly, I feel sorry for you Jim. You are pathetic. :)

Jim, are you always this stupid or are you just making a special effort today?

You just proved to the whole world how much of an illiterate, uneducated and unsophisticated fool you really are!

I am surprised you can run a business if you don't even know how to spell and count. :laughing-smiley-014:

I wonder how much you had to pay BOOST Magazine to advertise your shoddy workshop.. ?

Even your website is pathetic, spelling mistakes, broken links everywhere.

Again, I offered you $23,500. But you didn't want to meet up because I questioned the validity of your claims.

I am baffled as to how anyone with half a brain would ever entrust their car with your workshop. :)

harry just face it ! you could of got my car but you were short of funds !

$17000 didnt buy my car , you never said you had $23500 even that would by it !

Jim, face it everyone knows you are lying.

Also don't try to deviate from the facts.

1) You cant substantiate that what you advertised was accurate.

2) You have obviously been caught out screwing over others Reference

3) You verbally abuse and threaten prospective customers rather than apologise and try to resolve situations.

You can't substantiate ANY of your claims.

You are pathetic, and should be banned. You are a waste of Bandwidth and precious Oxygen.

I have nothing else left to say to you, I hope that nobody else ever has the displeasure of having to deal with you.

Goodbye,

Harry

    • Even with the piston at TDC there was room for it to drop, but I don't think it can drop fully into the cylinder, the problem you have is that you need something pushing against the valve to hold it up so you have enough room to put the new stem seal on and the spring etc.  I used compressed air only because putting rope in the cylinder seemed a bit risky to me, I know people have done it countless times before like this. Overall it's a pain in the ass job. Honestly you'd probably be better off taking the head off because the risk of dropping something in the engine and the finicky-ness of it all is very stressful. If you are going to attempt it though i 10000% recommend a 36050 valve spring/keeper tool. I had both the traditional lever type and after doing 1 cylinder it was absolute pain to get those valve keepers in place, even with 2 people. That 36050 is amazing, you do have to push hard to get them in place but it works perfectly almost every time. Back to my actual issue I think my engine is just tired and old and the rings have gone bad. The comp numbers (cold, no oil) were: Cyl 1 -129psi Cyl 2 - 133psi Cyl 3 - 138psi Cyl 4 - 137psi Cyl 5 - 157psi Cyl 6 - 142psi   Cylinder 5 and 6 having the most carbon on them.
    • Who did you have do the installation? I actually know someone who is VERY familiar with the AVS gear. The main point of contact though would be your installer.   Where are you based in NZ?
    • Look, realistically, those are some fairly chunky connectors and wires so it is a reasonably fair bet that that loom was involved in the redirection of the fuel pump and/or ECU/ignition power for the immobiliser. It's also fair to be that the new immobiliser is essentially the same thing as the old one, and so it probably needs the same stuff done to make it do what it has to do. Given that you are talking about a car that no-one else here is familiar with (I mean your exact car) and an alarm that I've never heard of before and so probably not many others are familiar with, and that some wire monkey has been messing with it out of our sight, it seems reasonable that the wire monkey should be fixing this.
    • Wheel alignment immediately. Not "when I get around to it". And further to what Duncan said - you cannot just put camber arms on and shorten them. You will introduce bump steer far in excess of what the car had with stock arms. You need adjustable tension arms and they need to be shortened also. The simplest approach is to shorten them the same % as the stock ones. This will not be correct or optimal, but it will be better than any other guess. The correct way to set the lengths of both arms is to use a properly built/set up bump steer gauge and trial and error the adjustments until you hit the camber you need and want and have minimum bump steer in the range of motion that the wheel is expected to travel. And what Duncan said about toe is also very true. And you cannot change the camber arm without also affecting toe. So when you have adjustable arms on the back of a Skyline, the car either needs to go to a talented wheel aligner (not your local tyre shop dropout), or you need to be able to do this stuff yourself at home. Guess which approach I have taken? I have built my own gear for camber, toe and bump steer measurement and I do all this on the flattest bit of concrete I have, with some shims under the tyres on one side to level the car.
    • Thought I would get some advice from others on this situation.    Relevant info: R33 GTS25t Link G4x ECU Walbro 255LPH w/ OEM FP Relay (No relay mod) Scenario: I accidentally messed up my old AVS S5 (rev.1) at the start of the year and the cars been immobilised. Also the siren BBU has completely failed; so I decided to upgrade it.  I got a newer AVS S5 (rev.2?) installed on Friday. The guy removed the old one and its immobilisers. Tried to start it; the car cranks but doesnt start.  The new one was installed and all the alarm functions seem to be working as they should; still wouldn't start Went to bed; got up on Friday morning and decided to have a look into the no start problem. Found the car completely dead.  Charged the battery; plugged it back in and found the brake lights were stuck on.  Unplugging the brake pedal switch the lights turn off. Plug it back in and theyre stuck on again. I tested the switch (continuity test and resistance); all looks good (0-1kohm).  On talking to AVS; found its because of the rubber stopper on the brake pedal; sure enough the middle of it is missing so have ordered a new one. One of those wear items; which was confusing what was going on However when I try unplugging the STOP Light fuses (under the dash and under the hood) the brake light still stays on. Should those fuses not cut the brake light circuit?  I then checked the ECU; FP Speed Error.  Testing the pump again; I can hear the relay clicking every time I switch it to ON. I unplugged the pump and put the multimeter across the plug. No continuity; im seeing 0.6V (ECU signal?) and when it switches the relay I think its like 20mA or 200mA). Not seeing 12.4V / 7-9A. As far as I know; the Fuel Pump was wired through one of the immobiliser relays on the old alarm.  He pulled some thick gauged harness out with the old alarm wiring; which looks to me like it was to bridge connections into the immobilisers? Before it got immobilised it was running just fine.  Im at a loss to why the FP is getting no voltage; I thought maybe the FP was faulty (even though I havent even done 50km on the new pump) but no voltage at the harness plug.  Questions: Could it be he didnt reconnect the fuel pump when testing it after the old alarm removal (before installing the new alarm)?  Is this a case of bridging to the brake lights instead of the fuel pump circuit? It's a bit beyond me as I dont do a lot with electrical; so have tried my best to diagnose what I think seems to make sense.  Seeking advice if theres for sure an issue with the alarm install to get him back here; or if I do infact, need an auto electrician to diagnose it.
