yea well if he has it up for 15k he will probley get 13 - 13.5k.

and turbo skylines are worth less then non turbos....

because by the time people are off there Ps they can afford something better then a 10k r33

The only NA R33 Skyline I would pay anywhere near that much for is Eug's, or perhaps one with a sound system, kit, custom re-spray, custom interior and nice rims.

Anyone who says turbos are worth less than NA's are kidding themselves. I've been scouting the market for the last 4 months and the average turbo is still at least several thousand more than the average NA.

hannibaal king im not gona have a go at you... but honestly i know 6 year olds with more common sense than you.

If someone where to put up 10 advertisments for r33s on carsales for 100k each would you believe thats what they are worth??

some of these 12k r33 n/as have been on carsales for up too 3 years..... dosent mean thats what they are worth..

So what is a good price for a na do u think

It varies quite a bit, I've been watching the R34 market very closely and as far as I can tell it goes like this;

Low end: stock automatic sedan: $10,000-$13,000.

Middle: Stock coupe automatic: $13,000-$14,000.

High end: Stock coupe manual: $15,000-$16,000.

R33 market I'd say would be in the range of $6,000 for your shitters to $10,000 for your late model really clean examples.

This is for pretty much stock cars with only minor mods.

g-t-r if you were sking me on prices?

i believe kezr33 has summed it up excellantly, except the prices start much lower in the r33, i looked at a manual gts coupe r33 s1 with full gtr bodkit for 3grand only prob was body was quite rough and hadnt been in rego for a few years.

having test driven a r34 25gt-four, it felt sluggish compared to my r34 25gt. i'd personally only go the AWD if it was turbo, but not an option for us p-platers!

I would love a GT-FOUR R34.

N/As are sluggish regardless. I want a GT-FOUR so I can dumb an N1 block in there once I'm off my P's.

i dont think $3000

well that says it all there natho

where was it for sale on??

Yeah would be good if they had a section in the for sale whole cars where you could select

Turbo skylines

Na skylines

And other cars

hey

yeh thats what i mean.

or even just on the n/a part of the forum

just a for sale thread just for non turbo cars

that would be awsome!

I got a R34 GT-four. At the moment it feels pretty slow but takes a beating. Can do 7k launches and no problems. Ive done just about every suspension mod to it aswell as 34 gtr brembo's. Will be putting a 26/34 in it later this year early next.

No way i could sell it under 30k tho.

tell you what you need then - fatter tires and and service (and highflow filter)

the NAs are quick off the line when you launch them right (between 3-4k) quicker than a turbo even.

but a turbo converted NA....thats another story all together :):D:D

  • 4 weeks later...

yeh mate

i have a R33 GTS4 S2- when i first got it i didnt like the ATTESA system simply because i couldnt do any burnouts  now that i have grown up abit, i realise all the cruises ive been on when i chomped it round hills could have been dangerous if it wasnt because of my ATTESA system. i rely on it and i personally think having a 100kg safty net is better than doing a few burnouts.

awd is probably safer option

but the thing is learn to drive a rwd and awd is a piece of cake

should get a gts and do a few track days or even hit up the skidpan

on the road just drive safe until u get used to ur car

its as simple as that

and rwd is more fun!!! :)

btw i wouldnt pay more than 10k for a 33 gts

i bought mine last year for that with 86k on the clock (96 s2)

and anyway when u get off ur p's wouldnt u just sell up and buy a turbo?

i too thought of chuckin the rb26 into my gts

but at the end of the day its alot of work and money

something u really need to thing about

but hey if u got the money go nuts

    • Apologies for the long post, but needed somewhere to lay out the entire timeline of events and actions taken:   I've got an 89 GTR with a R34 RB in it. It's been running great all year, driven probably 500KM in the last month. It's not my daily driver, just a weekend fun car.    Build info: R34 RB26 - HKS 2.7 stroker kit, HKS adjustable cam gears, HKS turbo upgrades, Trust intercooler, R34 factory DENSO 440cc injectors, JUN chipped/tuned R32 ECU. All of this work was performed in Japan back in 2019.    Thursday 10/2/25 - It's a nice day and decided I'll drive it to work, I start it up in the garage and I notice it took a few extra cranks and sounded a bit funny. I figure maybe it was just because it was a pretty chilly morning. I pull it out into the driveway to warm up a bit before leaving. As I leave the driveway, it feels very off and sounds like a misfire. I pull it back in the garage to deal with after work and take the daily to work. I was able to diagnose it as a cylinder 5 misfire with the old spark plug test (unplugging each plug until a sound change with the engine running). I take off the whole ignition system, ignitor, plugs, spark. *Important note, it is still on the R32 ignition system with the separate ignitor system. I test each system with a multi-meter and nothing presents as a smoking gun. I put it all back together and it starts up no issue. I go ahead and order the PRP R35 ignition conversion kit. It should arrive today (10/13/25)   Friday 10/3/25 - Another nice day, car starts up great and drives great all day. Very pleased that everything seems to be OK   Sunday 10/5/25 - Decided I'll take it to play some golf, load up and drive to the course about 25 minutes away. Drives wonderful the whole way there, I pull in the parking lot and the engine completely comes to a stop. I do not recall if it sputtered at all, but just remember all of the sudden the engine was off. I roll it into a parking spot, try to crank it back on and nothing.  It'll crank and crank and not even try to start. End up getting it towed back to my house and push it up into the garage.    Items I have checked: Fuel in the tank Fuel Pump relay Fuel pump fuse  Spark Plugs & gap Coil packs Ignitor    I know the cylinders are getting fuel as the plugs smell like fuel after a start attempt. I tried spraying starter fluid into the manifold and cranking and not even a sputter.    I decided to do the live CAS test (removing the the CAS, ignition on and spinning the CAS stalk to see if the injectors pulse and spark is active). All of the injectors were pulsing and I have spark at the plug. The half-moon end of the CAS did seem very loose, I'm not sure how much play is supposed to be there, but it was more than I expected. There was no in/out play of the shaft, just the tip end that is pinned on had quite a bit of play.    CAS Play video   When I put the CAS back in, I stupidly did not re-time the engine. I know I need to do that tonight, however, I do not think it will start given it seemingly was not the issue. My plan is to do the PRP R35 coil kit and retime the engine at the same time.    I plan on ordering the Haltech Nexus Plug-in ECU once they are available again, but ideally would like to get this sorted before firing the parts cannon at it and potentially adding more variables.    Anything glaring that I am missing here, I'm a bit at a loss?
    • Get it on a dyno. Get something logging Consult. Run it up and find out what is causing it.
    • Looking for a plenum for rb25 de+t neo  Not looking to push much power maybe 300kw at the wheels, is there much difference in flow for Freddy “Greddy style” compared to original Greddy or options like Proflow or Otaku garage?    I won’t be porting the de Neo head for now as I think it’ll be fine 280-300rwkw but appreciate the help and any experiences anyone has between them and any advice. Thanks  Looking at this plenum for now below
