i see i see.

have u looked at other options like a barrel water-air or similar? just some ideas as it seems ur going pretty out there and prolly chasing every little bit and i guess a std cooler setup is going to be alot heavier and have alot more length of piping

Have looked at dry ice tube cooler and a a couple of other options, not positive sure what i will end up with at this stage - either way there will be a meduim between the comp and plenum.

The NOS will be mixed with 109 and not meth as we think it's to cool and will have adverse effects

not even worth running the gas on the transbrake to get it off the line with the meth? i guess its a choice of running the gas with meth and possibly risking an engine or playing it safe with the 109, i guess its a no brainer hey :)

so what ecu/ignition/timing setup is on it? (sorry for the gazillion questions lol)

Ignition is...

"M&W pro Drag 6 - which consists of 3 banks of two upgraded Mercury coils and two ignitor packs and use magnecore resistor leads"

Cause I already asked :-) Wasnt sure if he was going to keep posting here about it.

Last i heard it was supposed to be ready for the last hi tech titles (drag meeting) here in Perth, but the torque convertor didnt arrive in time and now the drag season is finished so its wait till late in the year now unless theres a test and tune in the mean time. This is just info i read on another forum so dont qoute me on this :)

The input of energy required by a change of state from liquid to vapor at constant temperature is called the latent heat of vaporization. When a liquid undergoes a change to vapor state at normal boiling point the temperature of the liquid will not rise beyond the temperature of the boiling point.

The specific latent heat of vaporization is the amount of heat required to convert unit mass of a liquid into the vapor without a change in temperature.

nice table dude , dont know if my thoughts are relivant but would methanol still vapourise at high pressure.

as pressure in plenum rises (presumably to 2-3bar)the evaporation temp of fuel should rise too if you dont get high enough for fuel vapourisation temp in the (pressurised)intake the latent heat absorbtion during vapourization wouldn t happen.

nice results and setup, im assuming the dyno graphs were engine dyno? looked at a dyno dynamics engine dyno a few weeks back but id love to get my hands on a superflow item.... very nice.

good luck with the car and i hope you hurt some of the ego's out there

You heard right unique 1, may i ask which forum you may have read this on please? The TCE converter is on it's way to as we speak, they simply got "bogged" down with a heavy work load being the end of the season and all.

Yeh your correct as i spoke to Smiley from Datsqik Hardcore Japengines today , smiley is actually my head mechanic and the builder and tuner of my engine . Great value and a very cluey chap, has been paying with Turbo charged applications before 75% of current players were even born.

    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?
    • I couldn't agree more. I should have started from the get-go with a NEO or solid bucket conversion. I started looking into converting over to solid lifters yesterday. • BRUH, one of the biggest mistakes of my life..... and i've had plenty ;[)
    • @Murray_Calavera iam just considering options 🙂 of course it is very expensive so that why i ask here 🙂  @joshuaho96 I looked at that GCG hybrid(i remember looking at it few weeks before) So this is "that" hybrid where i send them my turbo and they upgrade the inside to Garrett stuff and then they send it back. It cost around 1200-1300 USD which is FAR cheaper than the HKS and it is what iam looking for(i just do not have experience like this...to send something off to "upgrade" ) @tylink720 that is like 150 USD turbo no? 😄 I dont think i have the "ease on my mind" with this kind of turbo. I just put over 7000k USD to "LINK" up my engine...dont want to blow it up with cheap turbo 😄     EDIT: https://www.cj-motor.com/gcg-turbo-charger-for-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-high?srsltid=AfmBOooVeOZ6CZ6r1AIv5m-KPaa6BvudIPJTY8LW78khkd-gQlsaCht9 I looked at this and it seems ok? It is that CGC hybrid and it costs around 1250 USD (with back shipping). Do any of you have experience with this hybrid on NEO turbo? I quickly look thru the forum/web and it seems very good.
