Inner West Crew Whoretown (toowong/st Lucia/kenmore/indooroopilly And Sometimes Sunnybank?)

I'd be more impressed if it was one of the Tommy Kaira digital dashes. It still looks nice however.

as would I.

Does anyone know of a good/reliable auto electrician in the inner west [taringa/toowong] area?

I have a friend with a sus alternator on a 90's camry

Mangs TFIT

Mangs what was the boost tee we were talking about the other week? Turbotech? Last thing on my list of sh*t to buy.

Mang, I have this one: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Turbotech-manual-turbo-boost-controller-ORIGINAL-/220798194994?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3368991532

It is good. However, this one is apparently even better: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/V2-Turbotech-manual-turbo-boost-controller-here-/220776081852?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item336747a9bc

Next time I need a tune for any reason I'll probably upgrade.

Hey minges.

I've had both the Turbotech and Turbotech V2. The V2 is no different in it's function. It looks different but it's noth worth the extra money. There was no difference in the way it controls boost.

Col There is a better more stealthy way of controlling boost. I'll talk you through it tonight. It's easy, Cheap (ie. Free) and very stable.

This is relevant to my interests.

We shall talk this evening. Col, does your car still run the factory boost controller?

On another note, The Stagea is exhaustimafied. Stock dump, China front pipe, Fujitsubo cat back exhaust. The Cat back is to suit an N/A so it was shorter in length than the stock one and the flange was wrong. Busted out the TIG and went to town on my new Catco highflow. Lenghtened it by 120mm.

All is well.

    • ECUtalk pages don't mention they support the ABS computer (consult port has more than one CAN), so you might just need a different scan tool. But, I would expect ABS is a different light to the brake warning/handbrake light, do you see an ABS light come on for a few seconds when you turn the key from ACC to IGN? But since you said: I'd have a look at the ABS sensors in the rear hubs to make sure they are not damaged, disconnected etc.
    • OK, if it idles at 1000+ with the AAC, its not an idle airflow problem. The cold start valve just gives extra air when the engine is cold, but you have enough air without it to idle at 1000. I think you are back to a fuel problem, sorry. Can you see the fuel pressure staying constant or does it drop as the revs drop to a stall?
    • Well, I was using ECUTalk software if that helps? Not sure if that only can see engine codes? Is there any other software I could give a try? Or any way I can get a blink code?
    • I never touched it, it should have. I'll try to give it an adjust. With IACV plugged in, it idles at around 1120RPM on average. Max 1200 RPM, Minimum 1025RPM before it starts dropping right before stalling. Took the data from the Nistune logs.
    • Thats what im trying to solve bro  no one with aem tuner experience would advice  much appreciate
