How does a castor rod fall off? or shouldn't I ask?

I'm guessing because the dodgy c*nt that installed them didn't tighten them up enough / use lock nuts / use loctite

no idea

air con shop was open late, so i went and picked the skyline up. Will deal with the leopard on the weekend.

I'd say it's more or less OK, it just dragged on the ground for a bit

looks like the role may be reversed. I may need to help you . (offer is there. what tools do you need?)

what is bent under it?

No idea. Hopefully nothing.

I'll give you a yell if I need a hand, but I'm not expecting a major drama. Should just be a couple of new bolts and away we go

Guess who's thickshakes bring all the boys to the yard?

But the question remains, why do you want said boys in your yard?.... No wonder no one went :P

Also if hardly any people went did the thick shakes really bring the boys to the yard? :/

You're missing the point entirely. But that's OK, there's probably only about 2 people that still read this thread that will get the reference.

Suffice to say, best thickshakes ever. And great scenery.

Ahhh... takes me back to the good old BnR days...

    • No requirement for JDM vehicles,  which the 33 is, maroney label only needed in the US market for new cars I believe (Federal law stuff) Google knows all
    • Hopefully you can just unbolt them, thank them for their service, then bin them and not replace them Apparently the sensors like to set them off with only minor impacts at low speed It looks like they do a delete kit for some of these, but, it is costly
    • I hope it's actually possible. This is a write off in insurance world.
    • Yup. 2-way with shallow ramp angles. Still works.
    • That was the first session so not a lot to take from the day. It was low 20s ambient and the coolant had got to 110 (and obviously had some pressure!) so that still needs to be addressed. I haven't downloaded the data yet but will. I had refilled the auto trans with Redline DT6 because it claimed the best viscosity I could find at 100o. It wasn't really long enough to get a good feel for that; while the trans got to 100o in the session it still wasn't shifting crisply as I hoped. I think I'll try a few more sessions before judging. No steering motor overheat but I'd hope not in only 1 session! But finally the suspension; it was night and day over the standard stuff and the car was a couple of seconds quicker on the same crappy tyres, which is a huge difference. I'll stick with that and get some sway bars and a mechanical diff sorted too and see how that all goes together
