  4. Hi guys & girls, I'm Carl & here's a story about a rare Nissan I have. The cars a 1989 Nissan F31 Leopard that my wife & I purchased about 5 years ago. After owning it for a few years & doing some cruising, it was time to sell to purchase another car. So the best thing I could do when selling it was to sell it to a good friend (Martin) that I knew would look after it & give it the love it needed. So another couple of years past with the Leopard in Martin's hands. He had done some work on the car in the time he had it. Mainly servicing & general maintenance type stuff but he also managed to get the factory TV working with a new digital TV receiver. So after a couple of years Martin decided he didn't really need the old girl anymore & didn't really have the room to store it. Up for sale it went but being such a rare car most people liked it but seemed to be to scared to go through with purchasing it. Now you know that feeling you get when a car you once owned comes up for sale & even worse when it's one of those cars you wish you never sold. I had that feeling, I also had the room but unfortunately not the funds. Thankfully Martin & I were able to sort out a deal which landed the Leopard back in my garage. Now unfortunately it needs a bit of work so it's parked up for while so I can sort out a few things. Here's a little run down on the car. It's current mods & what I'd like to do in the future. Car: 1989 Nissan F31 Leopard Ultima. Engine: VG30DET, factory twin throttle bodies, single ceramic turbo, non-intercooled, quad cam 3.0L V6 Transmission: Factory 3 speed auto with overdrive. Differential: R200 long nose, viscous LSD Brakes: Single piston calipers front & rear, floating hub front, ventilated front brake rotors, solid rear brake rotors Suspension: Front Macpherson strut front with DUET-SS "Super Sonic Suspension" (removed), rear is swing arm IRS Upgrades: yellow jacket coil packs, R31 lowered King Springs, front Monroe GT strut inserts, rear Koni Red struts, HR31 Skyline Whiteline front sway bar, Nismo front strut brace, digital TV receiver running on the factory TV, Parrot Bluetooth receiver, 80's Recaro bucket seats, 18x9 front & 19x10 rear Work Eurolines. Future Upgrades: Z31 5 stud conversion, R33 GTS25T brake upgrade front & rear, weld on HR31 coilovers, possible engine conversion.
