Got your PM Akira - NP.

Ash - I'll check in again today with Auto-Motion. Aaron should be back from Indy now.

Folks, 3 days remaining (after today) on this offer.

Remember you only need minimum $225 down before the end of October - then $225 balance a month later on the first training day.

Those of you who posted "put me down for " but haven't filled in the booking form or paid the minimum deposit will not get a spot - So hurry now.

If you have any problems or questions - PM me or e-mail me at [email protected]. My mobile number is 0402 030 038 if urgent.

Cheers,

Folks - If you have been trying to call Auto-Motion and haven't been able to get through - This is because heaps of people have been ringing Aaron to find about about his fairly substantial crash and subsequent 200SX rebuild , at Indy on the weekend.

Luckily Aaron wasn't hurt - so the show goes on people.

I think there will be pics if the wreck and rebuild on the auto-motion web site soon. If anyone is interested, I have them on e-mail.

. . .

Last days Folks....

I take it those of you who expressed interest initially but haven't PMd me or booked aith auto-motion are out ?? If so this means more spots are available folks.

Cheers,

I've paid 2 deposits via telephone to Aaron Mcgill on Tuesday.

There should be confirmation from Auto -motion soon

I wouldnt trust this guy Brendan - he stole my bonnet idea while putting it on a better car :P

I'll see you again Akira in 2 weeks or so.

Hi Ash,

I rang them twice yesterday and e-mailed as well - I couldn't get through. I'll be rinning them every hour today until I get through.

Stay tuned buddy !

Cheers,

Brendan

I just now received a message back from Angella - She confirmed that she has 10 bookings. So that lines up with the 10 on my list.

I'll be getting an e-mail to confirm names over the weekend - but I'd say the 10 of us are all good !

Angella said that we could keep the offer open - I don't know how long for yet. SO if you want to come but havent booked - You may still have time to get on this baby !

Cheers guys - have a good weekend !

Brendan

  • 5 weeks later...

The first time I did a skid pan day I was freaked, completely changed the way I drive and the ideas I have about my car. THis is the idea of skid pan days, to teach you what your car is capable off.

if after 1 skid pan day he thinks he can drift a comodore then I suggest people pull over or move out of the way when they see a red comodore comming in their direction.

    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
