Tomei Poncam

Recommended Posts

Now, I want to plan to upgrade the cam, for the setting

Stock engine with HKS 2535 turbo

Full HKS exhaust, HKS fuel pump, HKS pod, HKS twin power with spirlt fire

Stock injectors with adjust fuel regulator

I want to update Poncam 256In/Ex with stock pulley

Is it a good choice for stock engine?

How much should I boost for 2535 with stock engine but focus on TOR?

Thank all for answer

so are we meant to guess what engine?

Considering you have a 'GTS33' I would say leave the cams in there as they are good for that combination. Non-turbo cams work well as a moderate upgrade.

I plan to engine developing

Is it worst to change tomei poncam with stock pulley fristly?

Will it improve my performace or just waste money to change poncam with stock pulley

Thank

^^cam pulleys are very difficult to dial in and get a noticeable gain... easy to get it wrong and usaully advancing the cam will improve top end at the cost of bottom end and visa versa.

Tomei cams will make more power with extra duration and lift over stock items but as already has been said the performance gain to cost ratio isnt worth it with your setup.

You still haven't confirmed what engine you have. It's a little hard to give advise not knowing.

I'm still using RB25 engine

Every is OEM, I didn't touch for anything

For my options and setting, what I should do for my engine first?

Thank all helping
