After waiting more than 2 months to receive my covers, I finally have them but now need the money for car servicing .. too many bills to pay so can't afford to keep them.

They're made by 'proseat' down in Melbourne and they're CREME in colour with black double stitching and nismo logos (stitched on not embossed). Includes front seats incl. head rests, rear seats and extra material for the door trims (front and back).

I paid $665 (with a discount thanks to a GB) and had to wait more than 2 months for them. They're yours for $600 incl shipping but I'd preffer a local buyer (Sydney) as it's a bulky item to send.

Please no lowball offers, price is set at $600. If you want to pay $700+ and wait 2 months, be my guest. These are brand new and haven't been fitted yet. To suit an R34 GT-T ONLY.

PM me or if you're local and would like to inspect before purchasing give me a call on 0413337146 Please don't waste my time if you just want to 'inspect' and not buy as I'm very busy.

Any general questions, ask here please.

Denis

Up for sale still. Previous buyer bailed out it seems.

Guys price is FIRM.

$600 is still $100 under retail price and the covers are brand new and you don't have to wait up to 3 months for them, you can have them in 2 days.

price is firm, if you can't afford it please don't make silly offers thanks.

i can afford the asked price but im not paying retail for something that is 2nd hand.

ill offer 500 delivered to melbourne

have cash now ready to go.

it's not 2nd hand, they arrived at my place a week ago after a 2+ month wait. They haven't been fitted or anything, so they are NEW. Guys, price is firm, if you don't like it, please order from the supplier directly.

I am NOT desperate to sell these so don't try and lowball me when I've said multiple times that price is firm. If I can't sell them at a almost $100 loss I'll just keep them and fit them when I have the time and money.

tbh I'd prefer a local (sydney) buyer as its very bulky and a pita to send so I'll leave this up for a while longer.. I'll let you know if it doesnt sell

yeah dw dude. I went to proseat today and ordered it to be custom made and installed for less then what your asking. thanks any way :)

I somehow doubt that since I've been quoted $1400 for the same covers to be installed by Proseat. The cost of the covers itself and extra materials is more than $700 unless the price magically halved overnight or something. Their installation/labor costs are still atleast $700 as I've been quoted by 2 upholsterers here in Syd ($600 and $700) for install.

But if you really did get 'custom covers' installed for $700 that's a really good price and good for you. I'd be a bit curious how you got that price though when they've quoted me $1400 for the same.

Edit: just a word of warning about Proseat though ... It's been more than 3 months now and they still haven't given me the extra material I paid for. Phone ringing off the hook and emails not replied. There might be something dodgy going on and I'd be a bit suspicious about that price. I wouldn't pay anything upfront if I were you - just a friendly warning.

    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
