I'm new to all these meet up and crusing things so here's my noob question!!

What is a Pension card...

Righto - this weekend's a long weekend (camping). Will pm you for next weekend if you're open, or Pm me if interested for weekend of 20 June - will put something together in the south.

Will carry camera gear for some photos whereever we end up. Try and make it interesting.

Probably meet at Nerang somewhere to swap Pension cards and talk crib.

Damn... would love to hit up with you guys..

but my gf got an exam on saturday morning so i might have to skip this one...

(exam week for the next 3 weeks for uni students....)

But i'll be sure to join up once the exams are done...

this friday night me an two other mates going for a bit of a drive around..... only three cars at this stage..

my car r32 gtst

one mates car r33 gtr vspec

other mates tidy vb with a v6 conversion

trying to get another friend with r32 gtr but doesnt know if he can make it yet..

would just be the normal coast cruise.. plus check out the ferry road diner went there last friday night some beautiful cars there..

anyway let me know if anyones keen.. can organsie meet point..

no worrys ill let you know of the next one im gonna organise a day time cruise in the

next few weeks an stop somewhere an ill put on a saugage sizzle.. but ill also let you know if

we have any other little cruises before that.. cheers

i priced a conversion today for my r32 gtst drive in drive away with a gtr rb26 an r33 gearbox....

very good price $8500 2week turn around... nizzpro at ashmore... see you at tax time oohhh yeah..

Rebuilt 26? Or just one that's lying around that they'll throw in?

as far as i know they just use a front cut which is

normally $5000 to buy on its own.. they wil join up my front mount an big exhaust

they do compression test an full service as in belt,pulleys,tensioners,oils,fliuds,seals,in both motor an gearbox.

Hinze dam/Tamborine loops (west/north) or

Hinz/Murwillumbah/Tweed (long version, west/south)

Lunch along the way somewhere ... any takers?

Can discuss preferred route or wing it from Sun morning gathering.

Natural Bridge is down that way. Not sure what the road surface is like.

      Yeah I heard the same. Might be hard to order one. But then I guess can go to hks or go to a more expensive n1 block with tomei. Guess will jump the hurdle once I get there next upgrade around. I can’t get work done in the states as the lead time will take for ever on top of shipping to Hong Kong.

If you want an engine machined in the US contact Club DSPORT: https://clubdsport.com/ Tomei JP is probably fine but I recall they stopped doing pre-assembled short or long blocks. In general it's pretty tough to get any kind of RB26 block at the moment with Nissan so severely backordered.

      PAR specifically offers stock ratios in their gearset and you could do whatever ratios are physically possible supposedly for no extra cost. I agree 6 ratios is better than 5, the factory 2nd gear is equivalent to the Getrag 2nd gear if you account for the differing final drive ratio though. The Getrag 3rd gear with a 3.916 final drive is equivalent to a 1.6 2nd gear in the FS5R30A. I'm about to swap the transmission out on my car, I'm tempted to send the one I have now out for rebuild with the standard "cross ratio" gearsets out there to see if it really makes such a big difference the next time I pull the transmission.

Everyone saying the weak link are the bolts holding the rods together. I already did valve springs, arp head bolts, hks racing coils, nismo fuel pumps and pressure regulators, injectors etc for the top of the engine.
