M35 Nismo Grill?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has any info on this type of grill for the M35 and where I can get it.

I cannot find it anywhere, but I certainly do like the look - especially if coupled with a Nismo front bar.

Don't know about the extra bit on the bonnet though... although it may look odd without that strip.

Havn't seen a grill like that before, I've scoured the net the past few weeks for practically anything Nismo for the M35.

Maybe it's just a Nismo sticker on a custom made grill?

I would love to by a full Nismo body kit but they are like mega expensive, I'll wait until I'm ready for a full respray :) I especially want the tail spoiler thingie :blink:

Anyone found out how much or where you can get the Nismo Sticker set? I am half way through redrawing it in illustrator but it may be easier just to buy them.

Yeah, you can check RHDJapan if you want to spend ~$8k!!!

Import Monster has them. New via Yahoo auctions but you can't buy the whole kit at once. Will set you back ~$4k for the lot.

They can also source them direct from Nismo, but I do not know the price. Will ask though!

There are other sites around that you can get the kit through such as Nengun or Greenline (if they don't have it listed, just ask)

Don't think they would sit well on ARX's unless you remove the black guards. Maybe go for the PM35 Axis front bar?

Yes Craig, I know. The PM35 lights look much better. You can pick up a perfect set from Import monster for about $1k (auction will end soon though)

Are you talking about the stickers for 4k? :blink: ....If so I might just redraw them and reprint them myself....lucky enough for me we have a brand new 1600 x 1000 flatbed digital print at work....need to do a test job on stickers me thinks!

Would like the headlights....but....1K!.....I don't need them that bad.....might just make some carbon eyelids instead :)

Was looking at this grill a little more....there's two parts to it is there not? Part on the bonnet and the grill? Or am I being Captain Obvious?

Sorry man, mis-read your post.

4k is for the complete body kit.

Will have a hunt around for the stickers... I think I saw them in the Stagea Hyper Rev No. 2... will have to check when I get home.

Well it seems that the bonnet strip is made by Takero's.

Still no closer to finding the grill (although just starting to look).

Could it be from a different car?

Asking those that have worked on both... Is the V35 grill a straight fit on an M35 Stagea?

I haven't worked on the V35 but I know they are a very different shape.

The V35 has a more sloping bonnet / grille.

      A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!

      Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
