my understanding is 4.5-5l for the engine but not sure on diff and gearbox. Just check the dipstick afew times ..don't overfill, it's easier to top up a little

as for spark plugs .. everyone seems to be using/recommending NGK coppers, BCPR7ES I think .. or 6ES. I was told to use 7s on last service but I'm gonna try 6s this time. On last service the 7s were gapped to .8mm (stock coils) and the car was misfiring badly on idle and low rpm, regapped to 1mm and it was OK. Not sure why mine misfired on .8mm gap when everyone seems to recommend .8mm gap but yeah that's what happened.

My GTT makes 190rwkw or so on 11psi so I'm curious to hear what everyone else thinks is the right heat range for spark plugs (GTT here too). I do mostly short trips so I'm worried the 7s might foul up and the cars performance with the 7s seems to be different every day.

Manual Trans Gear Oil according to Manual (an English Owner's Manual)

2.4 litres for RB25DE

1.8 litres for RB26DETT

Type of Oil = API GL-4

For the Diff, any oil you use, you keep filling it until it overflows.

Can't believe how long it took me to search for an answer on the manual transmission and LSD oil capacity. Just filled it today (R34 GT-T). For future reference:

Manual transmission: Redline LWSP ~3.5L

LSD: Castrol Limited Slip 90 ~1.6L

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
