RB26DETT into a GTST?

I think you could do a hell of a lot of mods to your RB25 (and the rest of the car too) for the $8k plus alot more in labour that it would cost......

u can do it i know about 3 people that have done it one car came from jap like it..personally i dont think ya want to traction is really a BIG issue..mates got 400rwkw and he runs it back on stock boost cos its not driveable thoe this is a high powered example but still in a rwd car its a handfull...get a gtr the u will have some traction at least...high power gtrs loose traction trust me.

And i agree.

For the price of a GTR motor... you could re-build your own and KNOW whee it's come from.

Getting a motor from a wreaker might be flogged and only last you 12 months.

You usually only get a 3 month warranty with the motors from wreakers.

Also, if you make more power, either way you gotta spend money on, suspension, brakes etc etc.

Not worth it. Slap a 3ltr bottom end on it, bit turbo, more power and reliablity that a stock RB26.

Provided you have all the supporting elements
