There are 2 good car washer companies that double as cafe's where you get about 5 people work on your car at the same time in Southport(Ferry Rd, opposite Freedom) and Brisbane Rd. But they can be a little costly - think the cheapest clean you can get is about $29 - plus side is it's pretty quick, and they do a nice job.

As for chicks in bikini's, there's a privately owned carwash that possibly does that right next to Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast Hwy, heading towards mermaid- on an intersection.

there are a few D.I.Y. carwashes around, one in Southport(next to the Sundale bridge as redsuns88 mentioned), one next to the Parkwood Tavern and Griffith uni, Ashmore Road near the roundabout near Harvey Norman, Burleigh (just off reedy ck road opposite Bunnings), and the Freedom petrol station near Helensvale on Brisbane road.

Well, those are all the ones I know of, hope it helps :P

The handwash cafe's are pretty average, they work on a quantity over quality basis, if your wanting a quality job with one professional detailer working on your car (instead of 5 teenagers who probably don't care much about your car or if you ever come back again) then call me...

Being a mobile business I come to you at either your work or home, quality always comes first and discount's are available for regular customers. Prices start from $20.

    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
