lol...im struggling to even run a 9 now, we will see what happens when the car arrives up here to race. A few little tricks we have planned for it.

Also you can add JPC and most of the Melbourne VL boys to that list.

Im currently running a JUN pump now but will go to a Peterson external pump when it breaks.

My forklift bottom end will run a VL series II or VL turbo pump (they are the same) reco'd and modified by JW Auto.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH *takes a breath* HAHAHAHAHAHA

thats almost as funny as finiding out drain is switching to a dirty 30 aswell

btw paul, why would you go from an external pump setup back to a crank driven pump setup? im having a hard time finding sense in that

P.S thats senility for ya

yeah pretty hopeless...can't even beat the crappy ol' Knights.

lol.

Don't pretend you're a Knights fan all of a sudden. Everyone knows you are a closet Rabbitohs fan.

And the Broncos were just giving the other teams a better chance so they get to pick who they play in the finals. It's textbook NRL playout tactics

thats correct...the pump is a different gear design and is not prone to the Jap pump problems. Pull one apart and you will see what i mean.

crack off pressure is the point at which the relief valve opens.

Just to reiterate - except Tomei - different design :D

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
