Wheel Comes Off Skyline And Kills Little Boy

Recommended Posts

I do hope this owner wasn't using spacers. They put excessive stress on the wheels stud and cause these types of failures. If this is the case you can expect a blitz on wheels and their compliance, for obvious reasons.

shit didnt realise this was for real. good luck to the little fella. but f**k, just cos it was a skyline doesnt mean they are inherently likely to spit wheels at you

I'm happy for anyone to post it in an appropriate section. I don't post on the skylines board often but use it as a source of info. Put it where it spreads an extremely important message best.

Cheers.

do wheel spacers really put that much stress on the studs and could possibly cause this to happen??

That would all depend on the quality of the spacers and the type.

Floating Vs. Hubcentric.

Either way, safest option is to purchase correct offset wheels in the first place.
