Shouldn't the president elect his/her own committee? just a thought.

Nope. Secretary is voted in, then Secretary has the power to fill the other positions using the votes as guidance. Thats the way its done and makes more sense.

:)

Nope Ruby didnt get a chance, Kel said to cruise back with you guys since we were heading that way. Got a wave from you, did a U Turn and you were gone. Looked like a good turn out though

What? Kell failed to mention you were cruising back with us. Had I known I wouldn't have been in such a hurry home, and allowed you to catch up.

Apologies once again

The president does not have a say in who he/she has as his/her "wingmen" all positions should be filled by the paying members, If there is a draw between 2 people then it should be a re vote with just those two in the running. Im wondering why the secretary is voted in first when the President is the highest rank there. Maybe to get the minutes rolling right from the start.

Good to see Pete involved!!

so any news???

The suspense is killing me..wanna know whos in!!! :/

that makes the 2 of us Jess

on a lighter note i think that Pete is busy stalking someone :)

You may have to wait a little while yet guys.... while people have been voted for positions does not mean they will accept said position. All will be notified when things are finalized.

... and we all have day jobs. Pete's is quite random in working hours. All will be revealed.

I've touched base with Nismoid again, and we shall have a SAU SA members only forum up shortly (in a week?).

When we have the leaders, we can get bank account, CAMS membership, PO box addy etc organised. We will also discuss our first SAU SA debut event!

The wheels are turning people :/

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
