hey guys have a r33 gtr with stock afms on it just had the car back from the mechanic wat we thought was the coilpacks or spark plugs were f**ked ended up being 1 of the afms one is doing wat it is ment 2 do while the other is doing its on little thing there for once on boost it goes into limp mod.

Now wat i heard is there is a possible tune u can do 2 them make them run right again just woundering if any1 has heard of this all has done this an if so how.

yeah not sure what you mean, you could try contact cleaner to clean the sensor if its covered with gunk

but if the actual sensor is shagged, then its dead, no point try to fix it

2nd hand GTR afm's shouldnt be that much, new ones on the other hand...

access autoworks list Z32's for 295 then 30each for tomei plugs... that with a power FC would cost the same as an autronic SMC, autronic might be cheaper!

and then you gotta make the piping fit

hence just buy Nismo's @ ~$900 delivered and be done with it.
