Brake Master Cylinder Rebuild

I need to rebuild my brake master cylinder.

Just priced up the piston rebuild kit from Nissan.. $225, or $750 for the entire unit

For anyone who has pulled one apart - how hard is it to just replace the o-ring seals? Are they standard off the shelf items?

I doubt there is any problem with the actual pistons themselves to warrant new ones.

For me rebuild is not even worth it due to kit+labour costing more than a new OEM master ($400 delivered for R34 GTT)

Awesome - yeah that was my next question... "there must be someone that ships this stuff straight out of jp without the standard oooh thats an import Nissan Oz markup"
