I need to rebuild my brake master cylinder.

Just priced up the piston rebuild kit from Nissan.. $225, or $750 for the entire unit >_<

For anyone who has pulled one apart - how hard is it to just replace the o-ring seals? Are they standard off the shelf items?

I doubt there is any problem with the actual pistons themselves to warrant new ones.

nissan are always gonna overprice them .. genuine OEM units are $560 delivered from Japan http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm/Nissan-OEM-Bra...der-BNR32-53710

For me rebuild is not even worth it due to kit+labour costing more than a new OEM master ($400 delivered for R34 GTT)
