xtc
not bad on the price. i needed to change 1 rear tyre today as something unfortunate happened. was driving and heard a big pop then smoke was coming from rear view mirror. next was smell of burnt rubber and sparks. pulled over side of highway and tyre was completely damaged including the inside of the rim. cost me $389 for 275/30r19s achilles and $250 for repair for rims. was unlucky day for me =( Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/274090-change-4-tires-today/#findComment-4648960 Share on other sites

xtc
there was a nail in it and i didnt realise. whole tyre was ripped apart from the inside. i was trvelling roughly 120kph it happened too fast. wasnt really a pop but you know what i mean then the smell and i could see burned rubber. then i heard metal pieces scrapping. inside of my rim had to be repaired etc. was going to take pic of the tyre as there was a huge burnt mark where the nail was punctured in. tyre was completely torn in half from inner edge. Nice wheels but you've got the wrong profile tires on.
