Mike,

How do i tell if these will clear the racing hearts? Also will it be direct bolt on?

Hi Chris,

How much room do you currently have between the brakes you have now and the wheel? If you have an inch you should be fine if you have less it will be a tight squeeze and may require you to use a thin spacer for clearance. As for fitment you will need to see what size bolt your calipers are held on with as I have seen Stageas with both the more common 12mm bolt size as found on 300ZX, R32 GTS-T, R33 GTS-T or it will be the 14mm bolt size as found on R34 GT-T, R33 GTR, R34GTR etc. If you have 14mm you are laughing as it will be a straight bolt on with only wheel clearance being an issue. If you have the 12mm bolt size you will have to drill out the two 12mm diameter holes you have on each front stud axel to 14mm diameter and it will fit.

If you go to R33 GTR Brakes at the front you will need to use 17" wheels if you get defected so R34 GT-T stockies would be best I have a set you get borrow with new tread if you ever need them just give me a sms or call.

nigel, i think you've been mis-informed. r33gtr is 12mm so will bolt up to r32/r33 etc no worries. it's only r34gt-t and r34gt-r that are the 14mm bolts and require modding the stub axle.

chris, they will be a direct bolt on for you mate, i can't remember how much clearance the racing harts have - just check how much room between the back of the spoke and your current caliper and let me know what it is. even if you can't fit it, we know those wheels could do with 25mm spacers anyway :whistling:

Front and rear calipers and disks? Pics?

did you even read the first post mate? lol it says front only haha

Thanks Mike was getting confused with R34 GTR and R34 GT-T that have the 14mm bolts don't know why I thought R33 GTR were the same sorry guys.

I also have a set of front & rear Carbon fibre brakes with Strange Engineering calipers.

They are not suitable for street use though. Perfect for Drag racing as they are very light

& pull up very well from high speed.

I am in WA, only want the calipers, have rotors and too heavy to send any way.

I will pay you $800 into your account tomorrow if you are interested

Call 0417943522

regards

Mike

These brakes are SOLD pending payment. I will let you know if falls thru.

Only $80 to send lot to Perth so better to just pay $1000 + postage for the lot.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
