vudoo
Hey Guys I am looking at upgrading my stock exhaust system on my R34 GTT and have narrowed it down to one of these two: http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=273&page=2 http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=273&page=2 I've heard good things from both but wanted to see if anyone's got either of these on their cars and if they would recommend them and why... frx026
I got a HKS silent Hi-power on my 33... it is awesome.. very quiet while crusing, but a nice roar when under throttle or at the track. Adz2332
Kakimoto. If you've heard one while the motors loaded up big time you'll agree Exactly!! I had one on the GTR. Was nice and quiet down low and on idle. But when it open up sounded awsome! Loved it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/280789-hks-hi-power-silent-or-kakimoto-regu/#findComment-4736767 Share on other sites

FarShark
Considering they are both around the same price, I'd personally go for the Kakimoto. hypergear
I recommend HKS silent power. I've made 316rwkws with it, and its quite enough to not get picked on road. mattlikewhoa
I have not had the chance to hear a kakimoto exhaust (My friend has one for his 350Z on order) but I have heard the HKS on a few local R32's and it sounded rather nice when you jump on it... DrewII
had a kakimoto Regu on mine. exhaust tip looked very hardcore (jap racer style) and on boost in the high revs it used to literally scream. had the muffler replaced by an Apexi N1 as the regu had started to rust/discolour badly (previous owner in japan installed it) which IMO did sound louder than the regu but i think the RB sound was a lot more pronounced with the N1. Spiral
I have'nt heard the HKS either but I'm very impressed with my Kakimoto, even at idle it has a nice subtle business sounding burble but does'nt attract too much unwanted attention, it wont wake the non-Skyline enthusiast neighbours unless its wound up.
