T'was a good day, and SAU was represented well. At least I thought so. Some selfish douchebag took out the People's Choice Award, and it was of no suprise to anyone that a Supra won the dyno comp, although props to R34power's mate for doing so.

There was a lot of JDM goodness on display, as those that were there will attest to. I enjoyed it. How about everyone else?

yeah he was shocked there was suppose to be a wide body r32 blue that would have beaten him.

I thought that blue Supra might have taken the people's choice.

Bad timing for me. My car is currently not behaving itself and has a few issues that we weren't able to iron out before the day.

Would still like to have gone but our house settlement went through yesterday and unfortunately I had a busy day with that.

I reckon we went OK. For those that showed up at 8.30am, it's an ask to do a full day, yeah? By 1pm, it was starting to wind down, so I'd say you missed the best five hours when you were at work

I got there when that matt black 180 went on the dyno.

Me and Xmetal got some awesome shots last night too... had a full rig attached to the car, can't wait to see them!

Hi all

Great to see plenty of nice JDM cars on Saturday. Sorry I didn't put my car on, but I've pretty much made a decision that I won't be dynoing my car on any other dyno without one of the ESP boys to oversee the operators. I just don't want to risk any damage to my engine. Plus I don't think I would have beaten the 398 that Nathan put down in his Supra as I think my valve stem seals are on their way out.

I did mention to the guy that was looking after the shownshine that if they run this event again next year that they might consider doing it either 3 weeks before or after this particular date as a lot of owners could be in the middle of playing footy finals and they should also consider having it run on a Sunday as well.

I was a little disappointed with the FD turnout though, maybe they were all changing rotor seals that weekend.... :woot:

Anyways, good to see some nice Skylines there, fingers crossed this event gets bigger and better for us JDM owners.

Hey guys,

I've uploaded my photo's to the net but I have some people who are interested in some of the photo's, so I can't post them up here straight away.

If your cluey enough, you could probably find the photos :).

I am obviously of the dumb so I'll just wait till you can post them here :)

In and out as quick as i could... 3am sat arrive - 4am mon depart :)

Good to see/meet a few people in my 1hr outing at a car thingo last min notice haha

It being around the corner from my accommodation helped i must admit.

      Because sometimes I do dumb shit and because I kept thinking about 6.6kWh worth of PVs wouldn't be fully enough if I'm consuming during the day as well as charging. So I did a thing, added another 5kW of PVs lol. Since there's a spare MPPT port, why the fk not?
