Congrats on the purchase Michael... and a fine decision too!

Pics please.

Where in Melb are you?

We have a 4 (or so) in the east and a few in the S.E.

Could almost be time for a get together... now who was organising that Liam?

Why do you think you can't run rim on an M35?

You can definitely fit 8.5" front and back. Just play with the offset.

congrats on the M35, picsorban!!!! haha

maybe you melbournites should come to sydney for a meet up here?? :)

... or maybe we should all meet at the border (should be about 4hrs drive each) and camp on the river for a weekend?

... or something...

Hey guys,

Im Parting with my 180sx and have now purchased a M35 stagea 2001 model.

Pretty much stock expect for adjustable coilcovers, exhuast and thats it.

145,000km on the clock which is higher than the average but its really clean car.

Loved this car the first time i saw it! :)

Will get pictures of it when I pick it up tomorrow!

EDIT*

haha well I have decided im not getting staggered wheels because of the attesa system.

Seems like to much hassle with getting the right tyre diameter etc...does anyone actually have this setup in this forum?

Looking at getting 20's with same width, offset and tyres, no dish :)

Cheers

Have ordered the plates JDMWGN too ;)

cheers fellas, yeah the 20" looks really nice on them! been doing some research on the car about the attesa system and other mods

that you can do with them ;)

Im located in VIC/Eastern suburbs

Got sick of the defects/EPA with the 180sx and said bugger it! get a M35 :)

Hey guys,

These are the rims im looking at now...I like all of them

they will all fit the stagea without stuffing up the attesa system.

very hard decision! all good quality rims

Just remember that if you want to upgrade the brakes you need to leave quite a bit of clearance.

I think most people with upgraded brakes have +36 offset to clear the calipers.

But the wheels look great.

2nd set for me.

As with zei20l's question...

It that your M35 in your avatar?

If so, very interesting.

A MASA body kit to suite PM35 headlights and grill.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
