Does anyone know how much it might set me back providing nothing major needs to be replaced. (B1) MR_fanny Posted August 31, 2009 Share Posted August 31, 2009 search is your friend. there are a number of threads with costs and what needs replacing and part numbers and kits. it can vary from 600-1200 or more depending on if you are using genuine parts and what else needs replacing. bozodos Posted September 1, 2009 Share Posted September 1, 2009 well for mine: gates racing timing belt : $80 or so RB30 water pump (will plug hole up to suit RB25) $80 odd then getting the bearings pressed out of a spare idler and tensioner and asking the guy at the local NSK dealer what he can get that is the same thing (can't get the exact same part number), not sure about the cost but shouldn't be *too* much. (btw you need to have access to a press to press bearings in n out) and doing the labour myself with a mate.
