Nismo N1 Turbos

Hey all

i got some Nismo upgraded turbines (T25/T04B 0.64) with steel wheels, how much boost can u safly run with these things? wheres there limit roughlY? i dont wanner go blowing them up first time i take my car out on a track day or down the creek.

And also what dose (T25/T04B 0.64) actually mean? i understand its the turbo wheel sizes but what do they stand for?

what model are the turbos from??

T04B is compressor housing

T25 is the centre housing

0.64 is the A/R ratio

The R32 Nismo N1's are the laggiest of the N1s, though I think 18psi isn't uncommon for them, I think over 20psi they lose their efficiency and just create heat.

my boost controller has a little peak thing on it. so so it shows the boost that im making at the time. and it shows the most boost that i made till it gose into vac than it resets.

Most of the time when im on high boost, it peaks 22psi. i hope it dont have any probs with it, most of the time i run it on low boost which is 16psi

ugh R32 Nismo's... nasty stuff.

You will be able to run 20-25psi without a drama. Your motor holding up is another question

yea my engine is unopened, i really dont want any probs with it, for a little while since ive only owned it for 3months.

They are just poorly designed.

The power you get out of the vs the lag/lazy response does not make them a good purchase/choice when you have Garretts on the market @ $1300ea that totally eclipse them in every way

i c. well thats good to no, since my car is fairly lagging getting to full boost. And next year some time im planing on pulling the turbos off and upgrading them, or possibly a rebuild and new turbos all in one hit. My car is a nismo edition so it came with them, the guy that owned them b4 me didnt buy them, so id say they would be pritty old if not factory. But im still making 312awkw with on 22psi.
