HI guys,

I hav a 96 skyline, I was driving the car today had it in gear,

was cumming to stop pushed the clutch in and when I came to a stop the car stalled with the clutch fully in..

I pushed it in yet agin to try and start in in first as the car jumped forward.. i pulled it out of gear and couldnt get it bak into gear ...??

befor this i hav never notice any slipping of the clutch ect so thinking it not the clutch..? checked the fluid, its not not that either...

Any ideas guys???

Cheers...

Possibilities are:

broken pivot ball or fork

clutch spring broken

clutch plate spring popped out

slave cylinder or master cylinder not holding pressure

get someone to operate the clutch pedal while you look underneath the car. Watch to see if the clutch fork moves when the pedal is pressed and make sure it's getting 2 or 3 cm of travel.

If it does, then remove the gearbox and find out what has happened.

You may not be losing fluid but the master cylinder can still bypass the primary seal.
