I want for the S13 man

Craig's picking up a couple of the rims tomorrow to trial fit them so we'll see if he's going to take them.

I only cleaned them up today and they are in a lot better condition than i though.

I also have these which are 17x7 Volk GT-P copies. you can have them for $550;

popped down to adelaide tyrepower today, theyre letting me use the workshop, their tools, and their collective experience with regency to get me off defect, cool, the weekend i spent helping them relocate just paid for itself. :D

Lets put it blunt, he'd be the first person to 'lol' at anyone who did get defected if he DIDNT get done :(

only if its deserved. i wouldnt just laugh at someone being defected for the f**k of it, unless i know that person that is.

had a good laugh about it with bengi last night cause we both got done for some ridiculous shit.

I went to the start up and made my donation and you could tell straight away what it was going to be like so I didnt go on the actual cruise.

To be honest ive lost a bit of respect for mark to know whats going on with these cruises and nothing be done only to be making it harder for the rest of us later on. I never thought I would say this, but I agree with James, sled and the others that wont be doing a cruise again.

This is not Mark and Jules's fault at all...........they too would be affected by all this as they were the organisers....and i bet you all the tossheads from yesterday didnt even think about how this would affect the organisers.....

Theres a time and a place for skids. Public roads are not it.

Your biker mates Roo,. were some of them in 'team swat' ? I know what it stands for. I'm just asking as i know some of your biker friends.

Don't know how well you know the guys at "team twat", but they're a bunch of squids. Its these guys we've told to f**k off. No skill, no brains, no respect.

    • They are under bucket shims. Tomei provides a test shim kit and then any measurement of shim required.
    • I always wondered how you were supposed to buy a set of 24 buckets and somehow magically have every single one of them yield exactly the desired clearance. I would have thought you'd need to assemble a cam with either 12 "sample" or "example" buckets of known top thickness (or a single such sample/example 12 times over!!) measure clearances at every valve, and then do the usual math to work out what the actual "shimness" of each bucket needed to be, before buying the required buckets to make up he thicknesses that you didn't have on hand.
    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?
