I think the bloke i bought them off said that they had come off a skyline but i can't be sure. I'm not sure of the offset but you can come and trial fit them if you want or i can bring them to you.

Yer righto, i need something to clear the 32 calipers on the front of my car as im running a 25mm spacer on there now and i want it gone....

Something about the Stagea today that necessitated all the commonwhore drivers to wanna race thru peak hour traffic. :D Dropped the lad off at scouts tonight and some bogan had to express his disapproval at the advanced technology in "jap crap". Did someone put something in their drinking water?

:(

yes..

here's it in action (and a couple of other pics)

well since everyone else is saying they know the guy i thought i would say something too

i shared a shed with that blue sil80 at aq drift day last year i think and talked to the owner which i guess might have been you?

just ask exactly how long it took holden to get independant rear suspension in his 'aus crap' and they soon stfu - unless they have liquid courage (which proportionately lowers cognitive thinking and thus enhances the bogan to superbogan levels (at least in his/her own mind))

rubes if the lad is in scouts, he'll love the army cadets :worship: 44 ACU I think is the closest branch (Hampstead). Maybe when he hits 12yrs take him down there to watch and see what he thinks

Nah, I was in scouts for years too when I was younger, then moved up to the Air Force Training Corps ... and thats where Cam will go if he wants. He's interested in aircraft and choppers etc. Just like the way he plays COD4, bombing people from a distance :)

For a lad who drowns himself in his Xbox, DS Lite, and online games ... its refreshing to see him starting to take an interest in outdoor activities. He is enjoying scouts and we've enlisted him in alot of upcoming activities/camps. Tracy and I are getting him involved in go-karting too. I've just bought him a 100cc Yammy go-kart to get him started. Travelling to Melbourne next weekend to collect it.

I can't get him off the Suzuki TLR. He likes being dropped off at school on the bike ... so he's really starting to come out of his shell. Thank God!

Plus I took him this week to my dojo to watch some training, and he's taken an interest in that too. I have my own little 'grasshopper' to discipline now :)

    • The real question is, on some of those wild roads they call highways, how many times did a farmer in an old ute from the early 2000s blaze past you over double lines?   Tassie is a wild and really cool place, and after doing a work related road trip there January of 24, I understand why Targa Tasmania is ran there, and is so tough to do well at! We had a brand new Camry Hybrid that handled quite nicely, and thankfully weren't in an old car, because cresting some of those hills in a 100kmh zone for it to suddenly be like "surprise f**kers, this is a recommended 30kmh hard right turn" wouldn't be pretty. We weren't racing the Camry around, but we weren't slouching in the bends either. But my lord those old farmers know their old clapped out utes, and those roads, as they were absolutely hammering it!   You're also super lucky to make it up to Mt Wellingtong this time of year. It's often road closed with snow/ice! Also, I hope you hit up Salamander Road in Hobart for some insanely good food (I highly recommend the dimly lit Irish pub for a Guiness Pie, or even the bangers and mash!!!)   How long did the Ferry take to get across? I want to do a road trip of Tas on my own time, but I get horrifically sea sick, and I don't want me on the Ferry, just the car 😛
    • So far so good, about 30km on it so far and nothing out of sorts yet thankfully
    • Look at @Kinkstaah's thread on the issue.
    • Hmm not really, I'd say its race car life or modified car life when you make 3 or 4 times the power Nissan designed the car for lol.
    • I'll let others with more breakage chime in, but I can't think of anyone who had a problem with the standard centre plate before they had a problem with the standard gears - the plate generally just gets replaced for safety when the gearset is upgraded. As for the gearsets, its not like they are OK at 600Nm and break at 601. Their longevity is a combination of how much torque you are making and how gentle you are on shifts (or not).
