$202 was an offer to JPS_TRADING LTD on ebay

the obx stuff from racingpartsdepot on ebay.usa

thats the standard price, shipping was $90, lifetime warranty and the quality is exceptional

a TSA worker told me if you get a speeding fine for 10kph or over on your P's you get disqualified immediately. Pretty harsh penalty! There are a lot of un-signed streets, being 50kph, snap @ 60 and your license is gone...

They've come down hard with demerit point rule changes in the last 5 years. And of course the price of everything (fines/rego etc/license fees) has increased enough to start hurting the wallet - just went and paid a speeding fine @ the post office on my lunch break... $220 for 70 in a 60 zone... I was bloody astounded when i saw the price of the fine when i opened that letter. Up by $50 since my last speeding fine, for the exact same offence... f@rk!

sorry to bring this discussion back up, but the section ive highligted there is no excuse

who can tell me the rule they bought in (cos they were too lazy / tight fisted to spend money and to signpost everywhere)

50 UNLESS OTHERWISE SIGNPOSTED

so that excuse really doesnt wash these days

and yes, ive had one speeding ticket, 76 in a 60 zone, on the easter weekend about 4 years back. a split second of bad habits cost me over 300 bucks

used.

jps trading were selling 3sets, sent an offer on a z32 afm + the cheapest hks dump set.

was surprised it was accepted lol, considering id just spent a $900 on a big 13" wilwood racing brake upgrade

see: brake.doc

Back to my issue. Wayne seems to think maybe the two hoses on my car are hooked up the wrong way on the solenoid and that i should try swapping them. Nothings gonna go bang if i do this? Like if the hoses are the right way and I've swapped em over its not going to reverse the pressure into somewhere and make it pop?

Yeah I might quickly go see Shaun and see what he thinks about it. I don't care that I'm only running 10psi, I'm just more worried about that if the restrictor isn't there, then why isn't it hitting that 1bar. Even with a turbo back exhaust it shoud be a little higher so who knows.

got boost controller? without boost control you're restricted to whatever your wastegate actuator is rated at, which i think is 10psi...

no boost controller. I got a blitz 1 sitting here that I was going to use on my old gtst. Should work on the 26 shouldn't it? Or will I need one for a 26?

as far as i know a boost controller works on all, provided its setup in the right manner - best to ask ur tuner to install it really

I was also thinking this earlier...but didn't want to say it/couldnt be bothered logging in at work.

I have received 2 speeding fines in the last 12 months...both for a car i sold to my parents about 2 years ago. So i get them to fill in the Stat-Dec, and i get of scot-free :D

surely they've re-registered it in that time? :D no excuse that its not in their name heh

Nope, still in my name, so as far as motor reg is concerned...its still my car, but my parents paid me for it.

well its been confirmed! I worry too much and all I needed was a EBC and I'll see 14psi. Wow. Hahaha

hehe yep, or one of those adjustable manual taps

ebc is much safer inspite of their non regency friendliness. good thing is tho, theyre real easy to remove

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
