People look like they have aids if they loose too much weight and don't replace it with muscle. I've lost 20kg in the passed year along with weight training so I have no idea how much actual fat i've lsot but as a total on the scales, lost 20kg. Since loosing my license I have had to quit my gym membership and look at alternatives at home, which is a massive struggle.

Ride a mountain bike to the gym ... there's your cardio workout sorted! :D

does anyone know if there is an english copy of tourqe settings for bolts on/around the rear knuckle, control arms etc on a 33? Might actually have a go at replacing mine this weekend and don't want shit vibrating loose.

Cheers.

What do you eat for meals like dinner etc?

With the program you replace two meals a day with the shakes and then for your meal you have 200g of protein (Fish, Chicken, Lean beef, lamb or pork) with salad or veg.

There are some fruits and veg that you aren't allow and some which you are restricted to a certain amount of per day. No fruit juice, breads, rice, pasta, potatos, pumpkin, corn (Basically no carbs that aren't in the shakes) your allowed salad any time and there are some soups that you can make that you are allowed any time.

Oh and you have to drink 2-3 litres of water per day.

bet you could smash a big mac now eh Dale

No not really, don't really miss any food now (Except for bread and potatos) but in the first week you would be correct.

I've slowed down with the weight loss now, first week i lost 6.5kg's but last week i only lost 1.6kg's.

Oh and i have done 0 exercise at this stage, they say for the first month not to while your body get used to the reduced calorie intake.

more part availability, so i wont get teased of sliding the family shopping car etc etc

Always wondered why you picked the 31, it may be cheaper initially but an S series chassis is cheaper in the long run with the assload of parts available for cheap

    • They are under bucket shims. Tomei provides a test shim kit and then any measurement of shim required.
    • I always wondered how you were supposed to buy a set of 24 buckets and somehow magically have every single one of them yield exactly the desired clearance. I would have thought you'd need to assemble a cam with either 12 "sample" or "example" buckets of known top thickness (or a single such sample/example 12 times over!!) measure clearances at every valve, and then do the usual math to work out what the actual "shimness" of each bucket needed to be, before buying the required buckets to make up he thicknesses that you didn't have on hand.
    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?
