He didn't want to buy the BSB GTR for a reason, he said he disliked the color imperfections, he didn't buy it. WTF is the big deal?

Can we please move on and whoever does disaggree with KR4-GTR's choices, get the f.. out of this thread!

Marc

I agree also we move and yes to go away gtr32 you add no valuue here there no reasoning wiuth you and narrow mind.

My narrow mind? You tried to defend him by saying what was uncovered about his edited picture using jpegsnoop was due to resizing - perhaps by the forum - this is flat out bullshit and ignores everything else (the time it was done and editing marks, all using photoshop). You also attempted to add clout by saying you did this for a living. If that isn't a partial view then I don't know what is.

Everyone else simply picking sides, can enjoy living in their own world of self deceit in the face of the facts, it's practically human to do so. Although it is a lesser way to live.

At what point did I say you weren't a girl or weren't a real person and how is that relevant? You went to Melbourne with him, so perhaps you are his girlfriend he speaks about with the Sonic Silver R33 GTST. Give the admitted closeness of the relationship, it's no wonder you're so quick to stick up for him.

Thanks for calling me an 'absolute dick head', an 'idiot' previously (when I was actually correct at the time) and wanting to give me 'the finger'. What a classy girl.

Some of you people really ought to leave the emotion out of it. Why did Chris lie about using photoshop at all when the picture was questioned, then later change his story again to admit to resizing the picture using the said program prior to posting it? Because it was later exposed it was done minutes prior to him posting it and the original was two weeks old. Why resize it at all and more to the point, why were other tools used - chrominance, luminance, lino use (photoshop's paint brush!), etc? Because he edited it to support an aggressively negative story.

Now we all realise the facts, you can move on with your thread. Just keep your tongue and other morally questionable behaviour in check, Chris. It eventually bites back at you.

GTR32 would you SHUT UP you already look like an douchebag and are just makiing it worse. Nobody believes you, now go off and destroy other threads.

+1 for moving on from this dick head, also been following this thread with great interest.

When you resave a file in photoshop especially with reduced quality from high 12 to 9 (which i can see occurred in this instance and is commonly practised to reduce file size), it will certainly slightly auto change the images luminance etc etc from its default values, but will not result in the image in question.

In the sellers post earlier he even stated clearly to us all why in the picture the area in the back is darker with the shading from the pole in the garage and it makes sense. I've seen that car in person around melbourne city, it is definately two shades of blue and any picture of it should indicate this, but that is a bad picture and in person its not as bad.

I'd also like to mention aswell that KR4GTR's image in this thread GTR32 posted ( http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Wo...et-t273696.html ) is only simple blending and that picture is very amateur (sorry to insult you KR4GTR, but it looks pretty bad lol) just look how flat the image of the engine is. I read further up KR4GTR even stated to you that he could only do simple things like this in photoshop.

This post is not intended as an invitation back to GTR32. I hope he is gone for good now because its time to move on. I'm eagerly awaiting the return of KR4GTR with more valuable GTR hunt details which will also assist me in my search, please dont stop. You still around?

Ok back on track, anyone chasing a modified midnight purple 34?

oooo they bought a global car... interesting.....

hmm... looking at the topspec site, they've bought a lot of global cars it seems...

I've been watching this thread and have been hunting for a GTR myself. I've been sent the original from the seller mid december and that picture posted by KR4-GTR has been edited. I ran what GTR32 said in post #272 to really check and its even more obvious. It's not really fair of you all to blast the guy for pointing out the truth!!

I was also sent the same picture by the seller early december and it was extremely dark in the back, just like KR4's post shows. For completeness sake ill even try and dig it up so you can run it through your fancy program.

And that other guy deserved to get blasted because this is not the proper forum to voice opinions about other members its about importing and besides I THOUGHT WE MOVED ON HERE?

    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
    • So now we have a radiator with no attachments whatsoever. It lifts up with a particularly tight spot between the drivers side air box mount and the lower radiator outlet, but if you've got this far you will sort that too. This is the lower mounts with the rad out so you can see where the rubber bushes go, it is a straight shot upwards Done! Assembly is the reverse of disassembly, with blood less likely to be shed.
    • Right, onto the second last trick. The Air Con condenser is mounted to the front of the radiator and stays in the car when the radiator is removed. There are 2x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the condenser to the radiator, remove those The bottom of the condenser is attached to the radiator with clips. You need to lift the condenser out of those clips and clear (up, then forward). f**ked if  could work out how to do that last bit with the front bumper on. I hope you can, and you share the trick.  Bumper removal probably deserves its own thread one day once I've recovered the will to live, but basically you need to remove the wheels, front inner guard liners (clips and 10mm headed bolts), the self tapper between the guard and the bumper at the rearmost point of the bumper (same as an R32 that bit), any remaining clips at the top/front of the grill, an absolute bastard design with a plate that holds the top of the bumper above the headlight each side (only 1 bolt which is tricky to get to, but the plate catches 2 places on the bumper and must be removed....carefully!) and push clips between the bumper and guard under the headlight. If you've done all that you will be faced with wiring for the fog lights on both sides and in ADM Q50 RS at least, 4 nasty tight plugs on the driver's side for the ADAS stuff. So, the clips at the bottom look like this on drivers side (looking from the front) And on the passenger side (also from the front), you can see this one is already out Clearance on both of these are super tight; the condenser needs to move up but the upper rad support mount prevents that, and the radiator can't move down far because it is (rubber) mounted. Once you achieve the impossible and drop the condenser off those mounts so it does not stop the rad moving, you are good to go
    • OK, next the shroud needs to come off and there are a couple of tricks. Firstly, there is a loom from near the passenger side headlight to the fans, coolant temp sensor etc and there is no plug to undo.  In my case I was OK to leave the shroud on top of the engine so I just undid the passenger side fan plug and about 10 of the clips which gave enough free wire to put it aside. The fan plugs were super tight, the trick I used was a small falt screwdriver to push down on the release tab, then a larger flat screwdriver to lever the plug out of the fan unit....be careful with how much force you apply! If you need to remove the shroud altogether for some reason you will have to deal with all the plugs (tight) and clips (brittle)....good luck. I removed all of the clips and replaced them with cable ties that I will just cut next time. Also, in the Red Sport / 400R at least, the intake heat exchanger reservoir hose is bolted to the shroud in 2 places with 10mm headed bolts; so remove them (the hose stays in the car; no need to undo it at the t fittings down at the radiator lower mount. Once you've dealt with the HX hose and the wiring loom, there are 3x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the shroud to the radiator; remove those.   The shroud then lifts out of the bottom mounts where it sits on the radiator, up and onto the engine out of the way. Simples
