Hi all , someone hinted that Vipecs V44 may be made available with high current injector drivers in the near future . Any news of this and no not interested in a V88 for a four cylinder .

I would have thought that these should have been optional . I don't imagine its possible to get a V88 with only half the coil and injector drivers fitted .

Anyway with the injector driver box , does this give you the real peak and hold electrics or is it just the botched resistors system ?

This is now available.

The new V44 wire in ecu can support low imp injectors. (Vi-Pec only option) not available with the storm.

Also the new firmware is great! I have wired up my font ABS sensor as a digital wheel speed input to calculate %slip and run tables for traction control!

New software is out also.

Dude, you must be a sad person trying to dig for failures on the net regarding the Vipec to post it here. It is not Vipec that made your mother not hug you enough, let it go...

BIGmikespec, you havn't noticed i'm having a bit of fun here !!! the more you bite the more a I laugh !! I love all the vipec/link/rayhall fanboi's

ever since dirtgarage/foxy start the ranting about how good vipec was, and how it was going to dominate all in it's way ??? and all the motec is sh!t talk ??

then in for sale section i read that he's installed motec in his car ?????

$50K with all the latest updates since (MoTeC M800, custom loom, sensors etc...loom was done by Robbo who does a lot of the V8 Supercar teams...pretty much the best in the business $7500 worth)

ummmmmmmmm please after all the crap i read about how good vipec is he upgrades to a motec ???? NO not and inferior product

:ermm: good call. He might need some hugs, one guy was asking about a issue after a firmware update for a DI he had setup??? and then this?

Sorry mate Monday mornings, nothing personal.

I contacted Paul about that; he told me it was for the logging software that the M800 offered compared to the Vipec which is still developing with time. He has no reason to BS to me so take it for what it is worth.

Anyway, nice day will be had, same to you.

      GT-R clearly the better choice! The 300 is certainly not insaly fast but has a decent amount of poke. Does a nice little drift around the corners with a decent amount of throttle. It's VERY predictable in a slide too.  Feels so progressive! People probably presume there's a 25 year old driving it based on my behaviour this week! 🤣

      Yeah Jap import. Fairlady Z then! I'm a bit the same.  They've been on my radar for a fair while but then just impulsively decided to buy one!  Was going to just buy an NA and add turbos to it later but decided to save the f'ing around and just buy the turbo version.

      No, so what happened is. I put a bunch of filler then I sanded it all down, I removed all the filler (unintentionally), then I put the epoxy primer on because that section of the panel is bare metal. The car is parked outside so I needed to protect it in the meantime incase it rains.

      It’s definitely an import, the Aussie ones have reflectors in the rear bar, it’s also a turbo which none of the Aussie one were.    I remember back in the day I want a twin turbo z32 so bad and then I saw a 32 gtr and that was the end of that lol
