meh, **** off! lol

well its nismo, and it has an rb26 (im guessing)

hell, my colt is nismo to! and so is the datsun nismo forklift at work

shut up already!

there maybe a bit of nissan in your colt but there's nothing motorsport related in it... unless you managed to fit Richard Lyons in the driver seat...

What he said...^^^^^^

I wouldn't say Nismo and Autech were "rival" companies though, just two companies modifying some of the same vehicles to be aimed at different market segments...

true, nismo creates motorsport inspired vehicles that look the part wheras I've noticed autech make motorsport inspired vehicles in family car disguises... they're like the ultimate sleeper factory.

Is it true that most of these are automatic?

T.

Yes, it's true... only the 260RS, the 2.5 25t RS FOUR S, and the Type B come in MT... all the rest are AT.

It's all good though, because the 260RS and the 25t RS FOUR S are the only ones worth getting anyway.

As I mentioned before, I have ordered a black Autech 260RS Stagea. These have the same mechanicals as a R33 GTR VSPEC, but I have been told they are over 310BHP as Autech have tweeked them over a standard GTR. Having seen a Stagea up close they are nothing special to look at, 1993 Volvo wagon would be the closest thing I could compare it with. BUT they are very quick and a true sleeper. I wanted a 4 door GTR but due to the changes in the import rules, they most likely will not be imported, so the next choice was the 260RS.

I will also setup a website dedicated to the 260RS to give Engrish people true info on these awsome cars.

P.S the 260RS is only available in manual.

Mal

haha didn't say I was buying it....just test driving it! I didn't expect to be able to drive one before I bought it.

Re Autos, out of the 150 odd that went to auction in the last 3 days there were 5 manuals (including 1 260rs)

If you've driven a Skyline, you'd driven a Stagea.

Of course a 260 would be pretty much like a GT-R.

But look at it this way...

A standard Stagea has the Skyline floorplan and similar suspension.

But it weights 150kg more.

It has the same brakes off the N/A model.

Distribution is a bit off.

Obviously you will need 33/34 GTSt/GTt parts to be able to bring it up to the same spec as the turbo coupe.

Yes i know 280s a pretty extreme speed is an extrame speed and right now i dont have time to look for a pic to prove it to you.. But i can tell from what i know ... example...

I malaysia most of the crazy driver like me drive 200 km/h almost every week on freeway ( I drive it almost everyday for 10 minute) can't be fu*K of driving 110 for 20 minute.. if i get a fine only cost me max of $150. Hope this give some picture.. so therefore the cop on the freeway petrol have to drive a power full car to chase us if we have reach to 200KM/h passing by. So therefore Volvo T5 they use and every drive saw a T5 stop beside even if we are driving 220 or 230km.h... we will need to stop cause we know 270 or 280 the car can reach... if the car can't 280 do you think i will stop and wait for them to fine me??? forget it ..... that is in malaysia from my pass experience... but then is my pass.

I strongly doubt the T5 can reach 280k.

The 2.3 turbo five does something like 250hp and 330Nm. With the blunt dynamics it'll take much more pressure to hit 280.

I don't think a stock 32/33/34 GT-R will reach 280 and these are bullets compared to the T5.

    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
    • My return flow is custom and puts the return behind the reo, instead of at the bottom. All my core is in the air flow, rather than losing some of it up behind the reo. I realise that the core really acts more as a spiky heatsink than as a constant rate heat exchanger, and that therefore size is important.... but mine fits everything I needed and wanted without having to cut anything, and that's worth something too. And there won't be a hot patch of core up behind the reo after every hit, releasing heat back into the intake air.
    • There is a really fun solution to this problem, buy a Haltech (or ECU of your choice) and put the MAF in the bin.  I'm assuming your going to want more power in future, so you'll need to get the ECU at some stage. I'd put the new MAF money towards the new ECU.
    • Any idea where I can get genuine MAF apart from used ones? I can't find any only for GTRs and unfortunately that price is not in my budget 🤣 I might gap my plugs down and put my splitfires in, they were only in for a year or so before I started the rebuild
