Yeah, thanks. JJ are quoting 3mm less on the ID, which seem reasonable and like you say more than enough for what I'm intending. I've ordered the Blitz pipes and will throw in a 3" cat off my other car (which ran 270 with it on) and see how the stock engine responds. Next up will be the addition of -7s, cam wheels, clutch, and possiby dumps if someone comes up with some resonably priced R34 GTR items.

3mm is probably about right for radius but from OD to ID I'd expect between about 4mm to 6mm as it's obviously the OD - wall thickness (X2) = ID. so with a 2mm or 3mm wall thickness you'll be looking at about 6mm less ID. anyway it's not a big problem. most GTR front pipes are around that size.

Well the Blitz pipe and the Nissan 3" cat are on and it's much nicer to drive. Nothing major, but spools quicker, rides out tall gears at low revs much nicer, generally feel smoother. The old set up really felt like an engine that the turbos were stuffing more in than the zorst could get out. Felt all strangled and pent up. That feeling is gone now.

Very happy so far. I'll give it a proper squirt on the way home to see how she pulls taller gears. Be good to drive tomorrow morning when I'm not 'waiting' for the 'extra' performance.

Can't wait for the dump, turbs, ecu etc etc. Have to wait until after Santa comes for that...
