Do you think these cars are worth it or not???

I currently have a 93 r33 gts with zorst, pod filter, unichip, extractors and tinted windows, and verry sweet mags...

is a gts-4 a better car, or is mine better?...i dont care so much about awd weighing it down, as it would be that much difference!!!

So what do you people think???

The gts-4 im looking at i think is like a 94 model, with 400r kit( i think)

ok... I used to own one of R33 GTS-4

Its Great car to move around but... its missing a turbo.

if you want to fully RWD than stick with R33 GTS you will have more power due to no 4WD train.

R33 GTS-4 is heavier and less powered

If you live where high rainfall like QLD. then its very useful in the winter and rainy days.

if you are into drifting then stick with GTS RWD.

also it cost arms and legs for conversion, but it can be done :D

if you're going to spend a lot of money doing it up, im sure the RB25DET engine swap would be more practical.

I would go for a R33 GTST over a GTS4 though.

My options are r33 gts(what i have now)

r33 gts-4

Turbo is not a questian right now...as im on my p's

but as soon as i can legaly get turbo i will be so the gts-4 would be better then?

no... sounds like you are over estiamting.

Listen to other people SAVE Your moeny and get a old donga... VN or VX

what ever and wait for your P to get off then

buy a GTST or GTR later...

once you buy a skyline in P's INSURANCE cost you arms and legs and service too...

I know you think WTF but.. skyline aint such good 1st P car.. IMHO

Ok ill try one more time.........

I currently have a car...it is a 93 r33 gts but i was looking at mabe getting a r33 gts-4 insted, so therefor selling my car!!!

so you understand now?

Also remember the GTS-4 isnt AWD like a WRX etc

The 4 wheel drive is attessa computed 4wd, same as GTR drivetrain.

Front wheels are only active when the rears are spinning.

Computer controlled 4WD mode as apposed to AWD where all wheels constantly drive

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
