Rocker Cover Gasket For R33 Series 2 Gtst

hey guys i have a slow leak in my engine somewhere (i think somwhere in the rear of the engine) where the oil is leaking onto the gearbox. i thougth it was gear box oil but its engine oil. gave my mechanic a look at it and he said the rocker cover gasket needed to be replaced.

can someone tell me where to get one or the set it comes in in victoria?

if so please let me know asap!

sweet thanks dude. i'll keep that in mind btu yeh will be better if i can get it pretty muc h at a shop on the day but i'm kinda doubting it now!

i also heard of the rocker gaskets actually being rubber so they dont need to be replaced? and that you can just patch it up with gasket goop?

Rocker cover gaskets being replaced are pretty common on skylines.... most of them will do it at some point lol. I recall about $70-90 from a nissan parts place, but I could be wrong.

Try the cheap option first - a bit of Silastic on the "D".

I got mine from about $20-30 for both (I think) from Imparts in WA. I think they're in Melbourne as well? Otherwise most parts places, or Nissan. Not too hard to find, really. Just make sure you do the rear half-moons. I forgot to do mine, and now they're leaking as well
