hi guys im restoring my r32 gtr v spec to 100% standard factory spec and finally its nearing completion

what i need from someone or a few people is photos of what stickers go where and which stickers they are given theyre in japanese i can only go by visual confirmation

i already have all brand new labels from nissan japan but id love to get the positioning perfect

for whoever can provide me with the 100% factory positioning of ALL labels ( i believe there is 3-4) under the bonnet on airbox engine cover radiator support panel etc i will happilly send you $50 via paypal for your time but the pictures must be detailed and the location must be factory

but if i can get a few people to help with whatever stickers they have that would also get me out of trouble as most have been accident damaged or repainted over time and stickers removed/lost/damaged

basically i need a close up of each label and another shot a bit further back to show the exact location

there is a pollution label and a few oil caution labels and 1 or 2 others from memory its been a while since i bought them so i cant remember

please pm me if you can help out and or reply here!!!!!

cheers John

u think with all the people who have GTRs on this site someone would b able to show a few pics 4 this guy , wouldnt ya???? whats up with that ?? someone help this guy out a little

a little??

whys your writing so little..

although i do agree, someone should help this lad.. i want photos of this mint factory spec 32..

ill be quite happy to throw some pics up when its finished and all the badges and back on and so forth

its a shame that i cant get these pics because its something i really need to be correct and t me the car wont be finished untill it is done

maybe i dont have it in the best section.......??

thanks terry  its the thought that counts

i know people on here arent very motivated which is why i offered the cash incentive but even that diddnt work... weird

Maybe if you posted each label that you have, we could tell you/find pics of where they go. I'm sure we have all seen our fair share of R32 GTR's so maybe that would be a way. Just an idea.

no, i bought brand new genuine nissan labels

i just want to know the exact location of each label when placed onto on the car

Is there any chance......... (And do this for yourself as much as anyone) of getting you to scan these and send them to me in high res?? Do it for yourself to save them. I would truly appreciate.

i think they were about 10-12 bucks each depending what label it was....i just looked it up on fast and worked out which ones i wanted and ordered them a few weeks later they were here along with about $4000 of other stuff hahaha

  • 4 weeks later...

for those who showed interest here are some blurry bad pics of the semi finished product its still filthy and has fingerprints all over it from assembly etc... you get the idea though

    • For fuelling the Haltechs have O2WB fuel controllers. Very useful for helping tuning VE and correcting for *small* mistakes. Of course if your injector/cam/trigger/sensor data is just wrong (or for a GTT which is not a GT) then you will get impossible reactions to things. I am sure you know this already but the reason people don't typically put haltechs (or any Aftermarket ECU) on GT's is because there's practically no real gains to be had - So this knowledge won't be commonplace.
    • Can someone tell me if the cracks seen in the rear sway bar bushings in these photo's is unacceptable from a roadworthy point of view?
    • Shouldn't need a "base map" for anything other than guidance to ignition tuning. You just need the engine capacity right, the injector size right, and something, almost anything, for a VE map. On an NA engine, fuelling is almost completely a function of load signal & rpm. It should run and drive with a completely flat fuel map. It will be too lean under load, but that's easily fixed. We used to tune all ECUs without any base map. There were no such things (until someone had tuned a near stock engine on one, and then they had a "base map".
    • What did you actually buy/how much did it cost? When I got mine in like.. 2017...? 2019? the aim was to run Torque for gauges via ODB2 and things like Track Addict/Laptimers/Dashcam/Reversecam/Spotify etc. Mine never broke, but I wonder if you've got the same needs (it sounds like it). Cause I liked the idea of being able to do anything with it. That said, yours also cost 3x the cost of what I spent so... food for thought.
    • For me there is a massive difference in manufacturer or big brand crippled android (Sony, Kenwood etc) vs the sort of thing I've installed here, which is basically just a tablet in DIN form factor with open Android, and the other model of course is mirroring - Android Auto/Carplay. I hate the locked down manufacturer and AA options where they decide what apps I'm allowed to install, including the Launcher but also importantly things like Ecutek (for this car) or Real Dash (Stagea) are not supported. Plus those crippled versions tend to be slower due to both overheads and lower spec hardware. On the other hand, when this breaks I'll likely be in trouble for support....but how is that different to owning an Infiniti anyway
