conan7772
I now realise mechanical diffs cop heaps of wear and probably won't last 30,000 kms. I've been offered a salvaged one from an S15 half cut from Japan for $1000. It's not a TT. If I get it and give it to Award, will it be as new after they service it or do I have the risk of it only lasting a few months regardless. I can get a new TT for $1850. Please advise. Cheers. NYTSKY
It really depends on the condition. You can get the normal GT diffs for just over $1000. If you buy this TT you will be paying Award $500 minimum to overhaul it. So i think you would be better off buying it new. If the TT was $500-$800 you "might' get a bargain. Nengun price them both the same. The TT is no more then the GT. The only difference is the cam angle. NYTSKY
Crap, i should have bought one then. I was looking for a GT Pro TT when in Japan last month, and all they had was the GT. It was about $1250 from memory. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/302597-2nd-hand-nismo-pro-gt-15-way-for-1000/#findComment-5017697 Share on other sites
