Make/Model: Nissan Skyline R33 GTST Series 2 (1996)

Odo: 138,900

Notes:

Manual, Turbo (new).

Walbro Fuel pump fitted.

18' Work rims with near new quality rubber.

JVC Double Din DVD touchscreen head unit with Alpine Type R front splits.

Rear and L/R Rear windows quarters tinted.

Engine in good condition.

Body in great condition.

Car is optioned from factory without ABS (Greater braking control).

New rocker cover gasket fitted.

Will give many extras in addition to sale (GReddy front strut brace, Carbing rear strut brace (NEW never fitted and rare), Blitz DD BOV, 5Zigen Border 3.25inch cat-back exhaust, Great cond. suspension with near new SL King springs (in addition to stock fitted on the car.), Turbosmart Boost T, GReddy Intelligent Informeter, Sparco Wheel (NEW) with quick release kit, Stock original rims with rubber, anything else I can possibly think of that was on the car before it was defected that made it what it was and for your peace of mind.)

Putting these parts back on the car in addition with a few others and a tune will see the car making extremely decent power for street while remaining street legal if you desired.

Brief History:

Have service records from Japan (Rare) and Australia. Has had 100,000ks major service. Was imported through Synergy Motorsports. Has had 1 previous owner.

Has been looked after through its years in my possession. I had the Turbo changed prior to defect in early 2008. Bill Keen of Adelaide Turbo Services built the turbo - Bored out casing with GT30R core and bigger braided oil/water lines fitted. Turbo is aesthetically stock looking and passed through regency with flying colors. Best stock position turbo available.

Car was destined for things before defect, due to commitments the car sat in the garage for a long time and was started regularly for maintenance.

Seaton Motor Engineering took the car through regency in December last year. Minor Service done and car went through second attempt (Tint on left/right windows removed)

Everything is stock and in very clean condition throughout. Looking for a quick sale to start my career.

$10,500 non-negotiable. quick sale. first to see will buy.

Rostrevor, South Australia

0414 212 289 - Paul.

Will post up better pics tomorrow.

Would of loved the interest when the thread started

I ended up with alot of success in getting buyers from posting the car up on carsales - Who would have thought...

hope you end up finding a nice 33 mate,

paul.

yeh well too many f**king idiots didn't pay up buddy...

very sad to me that I couldn't get my originial asking price with all the extras I threw in from the first few people that were interested. Alot of cheap asses around these days. Low ballers... even at THIS price...

You should see me on a duke 7/848 by this summer though, im excited about that. I'm over cars for a few years.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
