10mm is enough for a gt30, not sure how much bigger a gt35 comp housing is but you shouldnt need more than 15mm.

MTQ engine systems usually have them in stock

GT30 & GT35 are the same frame, exterior housing sizes are identical.

Its the wheels that are different inside

surely the stock manifold is going to be a restriction on a 35R

Sure is going to be a restriction. 300rwkw is pretty much where everyone has run into drama's

And cosidering a GT35 - 350rwkw+ ... the two are not going to like each other.

can i ask what manifold you recommend ? a 6boost or something of that calibre?

ETM or 6boost are the people to go to for manifolds in the $1200-$1400 region. I wouldn't be spending any less than that, cheaper items just give you headaches.

I'm sure there are other manufacturers around but these two businesses have loads of RB experience which is handy as they offer off-shelf stuff :D

The next level would be items from Full Race (US) and similar outfits.

You are talking $2000+ then and really would only be used on the highest end/big budget style setups.

There is Jap stuff as well, but i'd go locally for this.

Only reason i'd use the Jap stuff is in say a Trust "KIT" where you get everything (turbo/gate/manifold etc)

Ah , no actually the GT3582R's compressor housing and backplate/adapter are T04S . They are the same as what a GT3040R/GT3082R uses on its compressor end but the GT3071R and GT3076R/GT3037's use T04E housings and adapter rings .

A .

Oh ic ic ... i should have added the "40(82)" on the end of the GT30 :D

I know they are the same size as i did the numbers moons ago for my own placement.

I didn't know the smaller ones used smaller dimensions, interesting :)

I fitted a GT3582 last week and got a 10mm spacer laser cut up for $5 at any laser cutting joint, just give them ur turbo gasket as template

unless ofcourse u would be dumb enough to go purchase one thru mtq or gcg and get ripped blind.

just a heads up.

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
