When are you doing it? If it's Sunday I can come round and do it for you quickly if you want. I just have a long breaker bar which makes it easy and a modified harmonic balancer puller. Done it a hundred times.

Yea, i'll start getting it ready on Saturday, I'll just remove the cover, cas, and accessory belts.

If it happens to spill over onto Sunday, then ill keep working on it, only thing holding me back is the 27mm socket. Got a mate with an impact wrench so that should make things a breeze (hopefully)

You know if the radiator needs to be removed?

I always remove the radiator due to my harmonic balancer puller. But it can be done with it in it.

Well I finish work at 4.30 on Saturday so if you still need it taken off give me a txt message.

And yes I'm still alive :P

You're all pretty queer.

been too lazy to deal with forums lately :/ and SLOWLY finishing this bloody motor off.

need to do some proper measuring to fit an oil cooler into the drivers guard LOL.

how are we all?

Who's friends with some one with an S14? Want to quickly test fit two products, a carbon roof spoiler and a carbon ABS cover.

Otherwise might just take them to work and wait for one to rock up in the car park lol

All good, got the flamin mongrel of a thing off. Its those damn stupid 6mm bolts that the rb uses.

Took a bit of muscle and patience but, at last.

New belt on and tensioned back up.

Job done.

Just need a new radiator now, the old 31 radiator had leaks in 2 places.

Not sure if the gtr one will fit Rob?

Hats off to Phil for keeping the diffuser I now own in such good condition for the duration he owned it. I straightened it out for I think the third time today. Have cracked quite a bit of the resin off it to :(

So if I keep going like this I might be up for a new one next year lol

Whats the latest on everyones cars in Townsville?

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
