That's what shits me. The fact that any cop can say you're "hooning", take your car and there's not a whole lot you can do about it.

He's right about the "hoon" definitions too. There should be a clear, definite outline as to what a hoon is or what acts can be treated as "hooning". I also believe that the power to confiscate cars should be taken away from police and given to the courts.

I don't disagree with the idea the genuine hoons should have their cars taken from them, even crushed, but I have personally experienced police abusing their power to do me in. It should be a court decision from a third persons point of view, not some angry cop taking his anger out on you.

I can't even stand reading the Hun anymore, it's just so full of see through bias, irrelevant human interest rubbish and celeb gossip. When people quote shit out of it without any more research I want to punch them in the face.

Andrew Bolt is a dead set shit stirrer, thinks he's Alan Jones or something.

yes seen it is already on the nissan silvia web site.

Yeh I saw it, what is it about? I didn't have volume at gym, just saw it on the big screen and had no idea what its about, first I thought it was Initial D or something untill I noticed the logo in the corner of the screen.

some dick street drifting, and basically they wanna catch him.

plates on show also LMAO

Who did the recording, to me it looked like A Current Affair did it. It wouldnt suprise me if they actually organised all that shit and filmed it to hype up the hooning topic, which is hot at the moment and it just had to be an import to make our life even tougher.

Ah great..Nissan turbo white with black bonnet. Good thing they mentioned he's from NSW pheww =)

Just wondering, do you attract much attention from popo's with that black bonnet of yours?

Suprisingly I get bugger all attention from the men in blue with the carbon fibre bonnet. Once in a blue moon when I do get pulled over for the 'random breathe test', I alway cop the "wtf is this guy on about"look when I tell them i have to get out the car to 'pop the bonnet' due to bonnet pins.

FULL SICK BRO!

Anyway, here's the link lols

http://aca.ninemsn.com.au/

It's on the right side of the page, then you just need to scroll across to the last video.

Thank's for the link mate.

What a dickhead, it would have been better if he stacked it down that hill into the trees, now that would have been Fully Sick!

That word 'hoon' really pisses me off, just the way they say it and use it for everything thats car related, especially since its always related to imports and always a picture of a Skyline or Silvia on every article or video they do, they always stick it in there.

I know for a fact that there are more Commodore and Falcon hoons around but they never really make it to the front pages. They should come past Princes HWY on Friday night, you'll be lucky to spot two or three imports around as they always get pulled over first and canarried so no one wants to risk it. I know this as I live very close to Princes HWY and hear roaring V8's all night going up and down racing and I have even seen this alot of times with my own eyes and no cops to be seen after midnight. For this reason I cant drive my car anywhere on weekend nights for an innocent cruise or even just to get something to eat or go out.

So the question is why always an import on front covers and videos when there are dickheads on both sides, just go on youtube and type in burnout I bet you will get 100 links to Commodores and Falcons doing burnouts and stupid shit. But because of the media innocent import owners get harassed by police and epa'd and all the other rubbish, even if we are not doing anything wrong and have a spotless record. We cant enjoy our cars because they have a few videos like the one above of a dickhead doing stupid shit, and dont want to show anything else, perhaps something like this

    • Input shaft bearing. They all do it. There is always rollover noise in Nissan boxes - particularly the big box. Don't worry about it unless it gets really growly.
    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
